3rd time here for the whole snapper in tamarind sauce & it didn’t disappoint! Wonderful dish. Also had the semolina crusted calamari & it was delicious. Friendly warm service. Great wine list. Highly recommended 👌

This was our return visit after a challenging 1st visit on Valentines Day. we were greeted by name and escorted to our table in a nice quiet corner with a view of the street. Our drinks order was taken quickly and brought to our table. I ordered the Squid appetiser and my husband the Scallops and neither disappointed. The flavour of the scallops with the mango puree was excellent, and the squid was cooked to perfection My main was the perch crumbed fish with fries and salad and my hubby ordered the eye fillet. The fries were done exactly as I ordered, extra brown and hot. They remained hot until the end of our meal. they were excellent. My fish was extremely tasty and nicely cooked and flavourful - I couldn't eat it all so was given a take out along with a fresh piece of lemon to enjoy it with at home. My husbands eye fillet was cooked to perfection medium rare and very tender. He enjoyed the braised green beans sauted in garlic as well. thank you for acknowledging our distress from our first visit and asking us to return as this visit was enjoyable from start to finish. We will return again - to once again try the prawn dishes and enjoy a dessert that we had no room for at this visit.

Waited over 45 minutes to get our drink. Flagged down a second server to ask where our appys were - they finally arrived. Our server when we asked him what was taking so long - and that others around us had been seated after we had been and they had already had their appys and their mains and were already heading to pay their bills - he said - why - do you have somewhere else to go? How obnoxious and rude. The owner finally came by after over 1.45 hours and provided us with a glass of wine and soft drink on the house. Couple next to us had been waiting same amount of time and they finally gave up and left without their mains. We drove an hour to get to this restaurant as did they it was the most memorable evening for all the wrong reasons. We would never go there again nor recommend it to anyone. They gave us a 10% discount on our meals - in my opinion that was no where near enough to compensate for what was to be a very special evening. My appy and my main were prawns and they were soft and mushy - not fresh at all. My husbands lamb shank was tough obviously hadn't been slow cooked for hours as it should have been to just drop off the bone. Horrid experience.

Great food, and excellent service. Our waitress on the night was a young lady from Newcastle , UK ( didn’t get her name ) but she was very friendly, attentive and really made our evening!
