   It took 10 minutes for a server to come get our drink order. Food was plain/bland.

   A wonderful experience before departing on a cruise. The waitress was wonderful and always filling up our drinks and checking in on us. The food was great compared to other restaurants around them. Definitely would come back again and choose this restaurant over the surrounding restaurants!

   I try to use OpenTable as often as I can for restaurants that at least appear to utilize OpenTable as a viable way to make a reservation. However, Fishlips doesn’t honor reservations made through OpenTable so you should call the restaurant directly if you really want a reservation. The food was excellent as was the experience of being able to watch a SpaceX launch as well as the boats going out of port. But the hassle of ending up seated in a different place than we reserved was disappointing.

   Ariana was the absolute best server and the covered patio seating was perfect for a relaxed lunch.

   We had reservations and arrived a few minutes early, we were politely greeted and told to go upstairs after the greeter had called someone to let them know we were coming. After going upstairs, we met another greeter that asked how many we had, as if they didn’t even know we were coming. They asked inside or outside, even though we had requested outside on our reservation, we were told “there’s really nothing outside except In the back”. Fine, whatever, let’s just go to the table. We were sat in the back area by a giant air conditioner for a table of six. A few minutes later the server came and said “so 6 people correct?” No, not six, 4, I’ve said 4 about 6 times to different people, why am I being asked again as if nobody here is communicating with anyone. The menus were sticky, and the ambiance wise quite dark. Our server was new but had no emotion except “what can I get for you” when we asked if there were drink specials he looked completely confused and literally said “I don’t know” then stood there. Once we finally ordered drinks we would barely see the server to bring more. The food was “ok”, the oysters didn’t really seem super fresh as they almost seemed frozen. We would have just left when we got there but wanted to give it a shot, I wish we hadn’t.
