This restaurant never lets us down. It's perfectly situated for people watching right in the middle of historic Rochester. It's clean and stylish and the staff are always friendly and professional. There's a good mix of young and old enjoying the fresh seafood and great wines which means the vibe is great. Mussels were exceptional and the cheeseboard is big enough for 3 people! One of our favourite places to eat locally and somewhere we always take friends.

We had a superb experience at Fish at 55! The greeting, the service, the food and the atmosphere - all were fantastic. We really could not fault any aspect of our evening and will definitely be going there again in the near future. Thank you very much to everyone at the restaurant.

Good value lunch for those who like their fish and shellfish. Excellent friendly service without being overly intrusive. Would definitely recommend and we’re looking forward to having the fruit de mer next time

All of the food was perfectly cooked & full of flavor! Particularly enjoyed the Pan cooked monkfish and the service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend for a decent meal out!

Went to Fish at 55 for my birthday meal and the food was perfect. Service was fabulous, not slow and not rushed, lovely staff!

Highly recommended, be sure to visit. The food is delicious and the service is impeccable. Special mention to Matt and Jacko: They provided great service and were extremely attentive. Consummate professionals an absolute credit to the industry.
