Come experience Afro-Caribbean Soul Food in its most authentic form - big flavours, big spice (if you want it!) and some serious creativity. "I'm going to tell my ma I ate at home today," said Tia, our head bartender, when she first tried Tatenda Goredema's food. Expect all the warmth and love of a proper Caribbean kitchen, but with some unexpected African twists and the sort of inventiveness that means this chef's food is going to get noticed. Food truck Gochi Gochi was the start for Tatenda, but just you wait til you see what he can do with a full kitchen...

Choose a delectable crumpet stack brunch dish, and get bottomless prosecco, Pimm’s, beer, and non-alcoholic options, for 90 minutes, for £38 per head. (Please note, on this occasion, all brunches must be bottomless.)

First time in there, early dinner with my wife. Great decor, friendly staff, food was delicious, music was perfect all made a great experience and will definitely be back again. Thanks Dan for looking after us. Cheers

Had a delicious meal by Mal Del Puerco, the Birra Tacos and Chicken Mole Tamal reminded me of my childhood growing up in Texas, the kind of food my Mexican grandma would make. Thank you for the trip down memory lane 😊

Mexican food pop up quality was outstanding. I love the concept of a different pop up each month. Definitely a way to keep people coming back. I’ve heard lots of criticism about having to order using the QR code and not taking cash but this doesn’t bother me one bit. Perfectly capable and happy to do this. We were offered a paper menu as well though so they’ve listened to their critics I guess. No beers on keg which is a shame but understandable given the fact that the food is different each month so that probably wouldn’t work. Didn’t sample the cocktails but saw many others with them and they looked great. Staff were very friendly. If i was going to make any suggestions it would be an improvement to the app you use to order food and pay on. It offers a tipping service but you have to tip in advance of getting any food or service so that’s not likely to happen, happy to tip if I receive these but in advance? Meaning the staff then lose out because you can’t go back in it and tip afterwards (like you can in Uber app for example). Anyway, would recommend

Staff very polite and attentive. Welcoming feel to the restaurant. I love the concept of having a different pop-up every month. June is Mexican food and we loved every mouthful, the pork shoulder tacos were my favourite, absolutely delicious and excellent value for money. I'm already looking forward to trying the Afrocaribbean food next month. I'm pretty sure we will be becoming regulars at First Draft!

We had a absolutely fantastic evening - an amazing mixture of delicious food - exciting different and incredible cocktails - plus a gorgeous bottle of prosecco! The atmosphere was vibing - great music lots of people having fun and the staff were awesome - professional but super fun and they all looked like they loved working there! Best night out for years!! The bar is so much fun to be in so many things to look at - bad art made us laugh - and the different table settings are so brilliant love love loved it!!

What an absolute gem for Norwich. The service was attentive, warm and welcoming, the food was absolutely unreal, and the cocktails so well thought-out for the menu. I haven't been this impressed by a dinner in a long time and I can't wait to come back and see what the next kitchens and menus here are like. Love the jazzy lightbulbs too!

The food this month at First Draft is top notch—absolutely delicious authentic Mexican treats. Cocktails are strong (caution!) but pair well with the tasty bites. Can't wait to see what the next months bring with new chefs-in-residence! Outstanding service and great overall vibe. Thank you, we'll be back!
