The onion straw appetizer was tasty, but I would recommend staying away from ordering the steaks. Ours had a funny flavor and were quite tough. The burgers looked good on another table.

Staff seemed rushed even though there were plenty of wait staff. I asked if there was a bar- waiter said yes but when I asked for a martini, he looked surprised and that was it-no martini!

The food was absolutely disgusting. The service was horrible. Ordered the delmonico and it was paper thin. I would never recommend going to this restaurant.

Honestly, this restaurant should not be an option on Open Table. I depend on this app to give me restaurant suggestions of decent caliber, this restaurant was not on par. The service was great, the waitress was attentive and polite however, the food was not good. The vegetables (carrots & broccoli) were under-seasoned and cold, the baked potato was served in aluminum foil with no seasoning and was lukewarm, and the salmon was cooked well but had the taste of the watery vegetables seeping into it, so it didn't taste right. The place was priced okay, but my daughter's child's steak (which we were told was a piece of ribeye) was very fatty, fat should be rendered during the cooking process, and was grayish in color, no sear. My husband said the crab cakes were great but he too, had cold veggies and a potato served in foil. I will not be patronizing this establishment again.

Fireside Chophouse has a lovely, attentive staff who engage well with patrons. The interior of the establishment and the food both present as outdated. While the food wasn't bad per say, it did not provide a whole dining experience.

Wait staff was excellent as was the atmosphere. French onion soup and shrimp cocktail was the best part of the meal. I got a delmonico steak which was tender but very fatty. I had to leave literally half my steak because it was all grit. My friend got crabcakes and said it had no taste. We did not complain or ask for anything off as the staff was excellent. We declined dessert.

They were out of several selections on the bar and food menus taking up the customers time rather than informing in advance. They kept returning saying they were out of this and that. The vegetable of the day was rubbery with no taste. The steak selections were thin and not the quality associated with “chophouses.” One bar selection was old and stale. We had to send 2 of 4 steaks back for being too rare. Just too many embarrassing moments as we hosted a couple for dinner. This place probably needs to close down. There were no cars in the parking lot at 6 pm. First concern. Unfortunately, we booked on Open Table sight unseen. The bread and French onion soup were the only acceptable consumed food selections.
