    It's been several months since my wife and I have been to Firebirds. Notably, the quality of food is what has brought us back in the past. We recently visited on Veterans Day. Our server was pleasant, but new, and we never did catch her name. The noise level was as expected (high) since it was V-day. And, the number of patrons may have also somehow contributed to the poor quality steaks we were served. My Cajun Ribeye steak (which was complementary) was excessively gristly/fatty - at least 3 ounces of the total weight of the 12 oz steak could not be chewed. I routinely get better cuts at the grocery store and recently was served a sirloin at Black Angus that was much more enjoyable. The side stuffed baked potato was excellent. My wife's blue cheese filet was also suprisingly gristly - given we expected no gristle in a filet. She very much enjoyed her side of charred glazed carrots. We like Firebirds and it is laudible that they pay homage to veterans on V-day by offering them a free entre, but they really need to be aware that the quality of the steaks they served us will not be an incentive for us to return in the near future.

    I had the ribs and tator tots. The ribs were over cooked and smothered in bbg and the tots were over cooked and cold. My wife had the sea bass tha came out luke warm and over spiced. Overall, the ribs at Sam's are better. Tots from Sonic beat these. The fish just needed a little TLC before serving. Saw the waiter with the water delivery. After the food came he came by. And he dropped off the bill.

    Went there for Veterans Day offer, great value! However, had reservations and they were very busy, had to wait over an hour. Service was great, steaks were over cooked, they offered to bring out another, but we had been there too long.

    They overextended themselves this Veterans Day. We were seated 35 minutes after our 5:15 reservation. Then, while the salads were served quickly, our entrees did not arrive until an hour after we were seated, and then only after I queried our waiter. My baked potato and filet were lukewarm, indicating it had been sitting on the warming counter for a while. The food was tasty, the wines admirable, and the prices very reasonable, especially with the offer of a free meal for Veterans. Perhaps they need to pare down the reservation list, or bring on more staff for this very popular day ( overheard a waitress say they had over 700 reservations that day, which I would estimate grossed more than $100,000. More than this restaurant can handle).

    Our favorite steak place! We always get the BLT salad, Cajun ribeye and blue cheese filet. Mondays have 1/2 off wine bottles. Their fresh baked bread is wonderful too!

    Made a reservation for 3pm and stood in the lobby almost 30 minutes. The food was disappointing. Baked potato was the best part. Steak was tough. Service was good!

    We requested the patio since my husband is hard of hearing. When dining inside we usually can't converse. And, the 11th was a super busy day as they honored veterans. Our server was attentive, the food was great, and so were the drinks. We wound up having to take our dessert home because we were so stuffed. We appreciated the bar manager coming by the table to check on how we were doing.
