    I ordered the perfect pair combo, served at lunch time. It includes one item from several soups and salads, and a second item from a number of hand-held items. I chose the bowl of tortilla soup, to go. and the smoked chicken breast sandwich, served with a BBQ sauce. I've had the soup many times, and it is delicious, with a moderately spicy kick to it. The sandwich comes with shredded cheddar cheese and diced red onions, which is placed under the piece of chicken. I ordered my sandwich without the bun, and the onion and cheese mixture was still placed under the chicken breast. I thought it rather odd to serve it that way, rather than on top of the chicken breast and melted under a salamander. It was tasty, but the chicken breast was overcooked. The chicken should be cooked to the point where it is just cooked through, but still juicy and tender. Unfortunately, very few restaurants ever do that. When you get one cooked that way, it is so much better.

    One of our favorite neighborhood restaurants. Excellent salads—large enough to share or have sone left for lunch the next day (I always get dressing on the side for that reason). Service was abit slow last night but usually not the norm. Nice, relaxing evening.

    Our server Teresemon is truly a rare gem! Always a smile, efficient, and goes above and beyond expectations. All 8 of us loved our food choices which had great flavor, temperature, appearance and texture. The generous portions make the price a true value. Teresemon kindly brought us to go boxes, bags and dealt with our 6 separate checks with a genuine smile. Highly recommend Firebirds!

    The waitress took a bit long in between requests and although my food was good, it could have been hotter.

    Had their steaks again, and they were outstanding as usual. Their policy of not having a corkage fee was very much appreciated, and the extra tip went to the server instead of the corkage fee, as it probably should! We will be back next time again for sure!

    Excellent food and great service. Chuck was attentive and not intrusive. He knew the menu well and made great recommendations. Bentley the manager stopped by to ensure quality of service which was appreciated and excellent as always. Our go to place for always a great meal.
