The AC was not working well. We weren’t told that when we arrived. Ot was uncomfortably warm!! It took a long time to get our water, our bread our refills. Our poor waiter was sweating so badly. The food was as always good though!

We ordered the three items for $40 special. It came with a salad, main entrée and dessert. We both ordered the BLT salad and that was really good with the garlic peppercorn ranch. We also ordered the salmon over couscous concoction with shrimp. The shrimp was clearly overcooked and very tough. The couscous combination was cold. It was clearly intended to be served this way. But putting hot salmon over the top of this was a mistake. Ir cooledthe bottom half of the salmon too quickly I like my salmon hot when served. I actually think it’s a mistake to serve it cold like out of the fridge with the couscous combination. It also affected the veg on the side because it cooled it down too quickly too. Makes me wonder what the serving temperature timeline is when you put hot food on top of refrigerator cold food. Service was incredibly slow. Took them almost 15 minutes to address our table when we arrived. I’ve been staying in the Gaithersburg area for about 10 days. Ironically, this is my third visit to this restaurant and this the least impressive visit. Way too slow to refill drinks, bring bread, and general attentiveness. This visit was weak, not the greatest dinner. Total bill was $88 with a soda and a water to drink before tip. Dessert we both chose crème brûlée cheesecake. We took it to go. That was pretty good.

This is a fine restaurant. The food was well prepared and the waitress and hostess were very welcoming and efficient. Our steaks were delicious and the cheese cake was outstanding. We dined at Firebirds to celebrate and important accomplishment and milestone and it was an excellent choice. If you want a unpretentious, but very good dining experience, Firebirds is an high recommended based upon our experience.

Gaithersburg location did not live up to Firebirds at other locations recently... Service was inattentive. Food came out out of order (main course before salads). Food quality was good, but not as good as recent meals.

Very nice. Good food. Reasonably priced for area. We were there to meet relatives. We were able to take our time to east and converse.

Excellent service, as usual, and very tasty food, again as usual. Wait staff are available and attentive without being ever present and annoying.
