Probably will not return to this location. Had a reservation for 6pm and showed up a little early. Host let us know our table would be ready at 6 and said we could wait at the bar. This was fine since we knew we were early. Well 6 came and went and our table still wasn’t ready so we asked the host who told us we were next and it would only be 5 more minutes. Meanwhile people who came in after us and didn’t have reservations were still being seated before us. Many went to regular tables which was fine since we requested a both but then they started seating walk ins at booths as well. 15 minutes later they tell us our table is ready an walk us to a regular non booth table after waiting all that time. We said we requested a booth and they took us back to the host stand and said it’ll be another few minutes. At this point we are ready to walk out as this is ridiculous but we had already wasted all this time and were hungry. Finally they walk us to a booth and it’s still being cleaned so then they have to take us to another one that looks like it had been clean for a while which if it was then why did it take so long to be seated. After that the server was super friendly and the food was good but it was not worth the 40 minutes we wasted waiting to be seated. Like I said we probably won’t be back.

everything was very good - our first time there. Will definitely hit another one.

Open table lets you reserve but they put us at the small table right near people of culture difference that was earshot and could hear your conversation

Wonderful experience! We had an excellent waiter (Sam). The food came out correct and hot. Also, he packed up our meals and even made sure we could take our dessert to go!

Visited on 11/15/24 at 3:30pm. The restaurant floor and tables around us were visibly dirty. The table we were sat at was sticky. The service was fast, but the food was disappointing. I ordered a 16oz ribeye medium rare (warm pink center) it was brought to the table rare (I did send it back). I ordered a glass of meiomi Pinot noir, the glass was brought to the table and it smelled like vinegar. I tried to choke it down because I really hate sending things back, they brought another glass, it tasted like a blend, I didn't send it back. I've been to many Firebird restaurants in the DC/NOVA area, this one is the worse.

The food was delicious, we had the grilled salmon, vegetables with a loaded baked potato. The drinks were of an acquired taste but get you there. Overall it was very nice.

Pork chop was dry, steak was unevenly cooked and was served warm not hot. Server didn't check on glass of wine ordered with dinner. Finally getting her attention, she checks the bar and is told wine order was not received due to a system malfunction. Instead of filling order immediately, waited an additional 15 minutes for it to be served. Sent it back as I was nearly finished with my dinner. Questioning whether or not to go back.

Firebird's is one of our "go to restaurants". We have never had a bad experience. I certainly appreciate what they do in support of Veterans. You can not go wrong dining at Firebird's.
