Welcome to Firebirds Wood Fired Grill Frederick! We are an American Restaurant and Steakhouse known for our scratch kitchen, bold flavors and inviting atmosphere. Excellent food. Excellent service. The waiter Sonny was very knowledgeable. Would recommend for date night or business night.

Everything was fantastic from the quick seating with our reservation, pacing of getting drinks and the 3 course meal. The food was excellent and our server was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about options to help in our selection. A wonderful evening out.

My wife and I went there for our Valentine's Day dinner. We remembered when the location was the Macaroni Grill. We could see some renovations had been made and their good ones. We had reservations and we were quickly seated. Service was good, but too many times we were asked if everything was okay. Glad for some attention, but it was a wee bit too much. The bread they served was not very good and we told each other that we wished they got the Macaroni Grill's recipe for their rosemary focaccia served with olive oil and an herb mixture. I usually asked to have some grated Parmesan added to take it up a notch. My rib eye was cooked to medium rare perfection. You would be surprised how many restaurants cannot cook a steak properly. The asparagus was steamed too much before grilling and some had not had the wooden bottom removed. My wife's Chilean Sea Bass was also cooked to perfection and she cleaned the dish. We took a slice of chocolate mousse cake home with us and it was delicious. We will go back there again to dine.

My wife and I really enjoyed ourselves! It was the second time we have been to the restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was great!

The food was decent, but what really bothered us was the feeling that they were eager to rush us out. We were looking forward to a nice sit-down dinner, but they kept urging us to start our next course before we even finished the first one. It was quite disappointing, especially since it was meant to be a special date night.

The only reservation we could get for V Day was at 4 pm. Turned out to be great. Not so busy, excellent service and moderate noise level. No VDay ambiance though as only balloons scattered about the restaurant. A rose for each lady would have been nice or fairy lights instead of balloons.

Such great service and good. This isn’t our first time at Firebirds but the our first time at the Frederick location, great work! We will definitely be coming back. Jacob is an amazing waiter!

I took my older teen sons for a special dinner. We were seated immediately and had the most charming waitress. We had an exceptional dining experience, and we eat out a lot. Got a lemon drop, surf and turf, and chocolate cake.
