I’m sure that in time processes will be in place which will make it more enjoyable. However, our reservation was at 6:30 and we waited for 20 minutes for a table. This was a birthday dinner and only 2 of us. The wine selection is lacking as well. Nothing interesting or unique. The food was good but my salmon was overcooked due to being “nuked” immediately before serving. I’ve always had a good experience at the Stonecrest location so when we found out about Fort Mill, we were very excited. That said, we won’t be back any time soon or recommend to others. The hostess & servers were unpolished and lacked communication and industry skills. Again, I’m sure over time these processes will be perfected and business will level off for a better restaurant experience.

Abby was an excellent server! Food was fabulous - can’t wait to return. Nice to have in Fort Mill!!

We wanted so much to love the Firebirds in Fort Mill, having been huge fans of the flagship location in Winston-Salem, NC. Our hopes were dashed in numerous ways. The biggest issue was the service: we were seated about 6:10pm for our 6:00 reservation but we didn't leave until almost 8:30pm! One bar order had to be done because it was short; OK, that was fixed -- but a little awkward. Salads came out fairly quickly and were a generous size but entrees took forever and, even then, they didn't all come out together. Service really fell apart at dessert. Only one dessert was delivered to our table; we had to flag down our server to get the second dessert in our order -- and ended up taking it "to go" because the other dessert had long been finished. Payment was also very slow; our credit cards were out of our possession for almost 15 minutes! Finally, there was absolutely NO recognition of the special occasion we were celebrating -- our 42nd anniversary -- which I had duly noted when I made our OpenTable reservation. Maybe this Firebirds will work out the kinks but it certainly has left a bad taste (pun intended!) in my mouth. We were VERY disappointed and not encouraged to return.

I have been to this new restaurant twice now and the food is delicious. The service is excellent. I love this new restaurant. They only thing is it’s very noisy and hard to carry on a conversation.

Great service, very attentive staff. If I did have a "minor" complaint, I think some of the lighting (especially over the booth where we were sitting) could be toned down a little bit. It was more like a small spotlight was directly over our heads, which made it a little too bright for a nice dinner..

We had a wonderful anniversary dinner complete with good wishes at the door and a complimentary anniversary dessert after dinner. It was a bit noisy for folks with hearing aids (even with an early dining time), but we definitely will be back! Abi was a superb server!

Our waiter could’ve done better food was ok… all those servers you’d think I wouldn’t have to ask 3x for a straw… long wait even with reservations

Tried to seat us at a small table for 2, I refused it. After being seated properly she took our order and asked if we wanted bread, yes. After 15 minutes I asked about the bread. Two minutes after we got the bread they brought our meal overcooked. Awful experience.
