Waited 20 minutes before we were greeted. Server was nice and friendly. Had to send back chili, it was lukewarm. Steaks were lacking flavor and the creme brulee cheesecake was awful.

Went with friends on 2/8/25 while doing business in Durham. Our server was Larry, older gentleman. Very nice, very attentive and called us by name. Wonderful service from him.

Food was good. Value for price.. very good. Aaron was an excellent waiter. Seating process.. bad. We arrived a little early for our reservation, they said they would try and get us seated and initially were the only ones there. Quite a few folks came in after and everyone else was seated before us. We were actually seated after our reservation time. If it was that tight it would have been better to say that upfront. Wont be rushing back. Lots of better steakhouse options.

Had a nice dinner before a movie. The food was good but not great but the service was very good. This place can be noisy and it was - plus if you sit near the kitchen - even noisier and not a great ambiance. Otherwise all was good.

We were seated promptly, however we had to wait about 15 minutes for our waiter to acknowledge us. And that was after asking for the waiter. The vegetables were cold, the queso dip dish had dip running down the side. The waiter only checked on us after signaling for him. The bread holder, bread plates, appetizer dishes were not removed after each course- a real pileup on the small table. We eat here frequently, however with this experience it will some time before returning. Unsatisfactory service

Great food for both adults and kids, and our server was wonderful. She was very attentive, but did not disturb us unnecessarily. We went for Sunday brunch after church and it was perfect for our party of seven.

We had a wonderful experience at Firebirds. The waitress who took care of us did a great job, especially being that she had some other highly demanding tables. The food was outstanding and even really large portions. We felt we got our moneys worth. We will definitely be back.

Food was great but service was not. As a former firebirds employee, I was very disappointed with the service overall. My aunt and I waited 10-15 minutes to be greeted and continued to wait for our drinks. We asked for bread and never received it until after our entrees were delivered. Our starters were never given to us until we asked about them when a manager brought our entrees. The server (who never introduced herself/gave her name) asked us if we received our starters when she saw our entrees had been delivered to which we said no before she walked away. She never checked on us until she remembered we asked for bread (after a gentle reminder) and dropped it off. She never checked on us again until she brought over our desserts BEFORE asking if we were finished with our entrees or if we needed any boxes. We got our boxes but no bag was given to us for them. As we eventually got up to leave after paying, our server told us goodnight and began cleaning our table as we were trying to gathering our things to leave- mind you we hadn’t officially left yet when she began cleaning off our table. Overall, my aunt and I felt like we were almost a nuisance to our server. We felt like we were being rushed out at the end of our meal and like we were being punished. My aunt mentioned the server was upset with another server and the hostess girls at the front. Even if that is true, it’s not professional to take your anger out on another table. Overall very disappointed with the experience and will think twice about coming back again for fear of having the same experience.
