    Our server was delayed 10-15 minutes for every request. Brought wrong wine out. Took 20 to get right one. Didn’t bring salad out. Didn’t follow up on the meal. Did her side work and disappeared to the back for 20 while we waited for the check. Finally we asked a server and he said she was out back. So we waited another 5 then went to the front. I was a server in undergrad and the first time we have tipped 10% and really deserved zero. The managers were really pleasant when correcting her mistakes but I probably should have requested a comped meal or canceled half way. Bummer because there were only 5-6 tables in the restaurant.

    This is the 2nd time since May we have been to this location and our food took forever. Last night we never received our salads before our food and the waitress failed to take them off the bill.

    Elvis was very nice, Lobster Queso was amazing. Filet was overcooked. Wife’s ribs was overcooked. No pre bussing, table was dirty the entire dining experience. Was a shame as we were 1 of the 3 tables in the restaurant. Table was also sticky when we sat down.

    It was an off night for Firebirds. Everything seemed to be out of kilter. It was warm in the restaurant, the service was extremely slow. Took us 2 hours to have dinner for 4 people. They served dessert with plastic forks and spoons. The only good part of the evening was our server Joy. Now, add to the bad night, they have taken away their veggie burger. It was the only vegetarian entree on their menu. It was also a great seller and by far the best veggie burger in Memphis. I am not even a vegetarian, but I loved it. We were regulars because my wife and son are vegetarian and they wanted to go there just for the burger. In 2024, how does a restaurant believe they can be successful without offering at lest on vegetarian dish if not more. It was a very disappointing evening for many reason, but taking away one of your best items and only vegetarian option may end it for us at Firebirds.

    We have dinner at Firebirds every week or every two weeks. I had scheduled lunch for 12 people, and we planned to play cards after most of the lunch diners had left. I know the servers who work in the evening, but not the ones who work lunch. Our tables were set up when we arrived, but the service was incredibly slow, and it took a long time to get our food. After we finished eating, I requested our checks. They were slow in coming, then they were incorrect. Mine was sent back twice and I finally paid the third bill. Since we had planned to play cards, I requested three times that our tables be cleared. There were a lot of employees standing around, so they were not short-staffed. Since there weren't a lot of diners left, one group moved to a nearby clean table, and we moved the dirty dishes off our table onto the other one and wiped off the table ourselves. Unfortunately, some of the people in the group had never been to Firebirds and will probably not go back. I would not schedule another group event there. It is still one of our favorite places for dinner so we will continue to eat there. Some of the other regulars who are familiar with Firebirds will go back, too.

    It was very busy. We had a long wait for our food .we didn't order any appetizers only meals and still had a long wait. Our server even forgot parts of our orders. But the food was good.

    Screaming children throwing things at the table next to you doesn’t make for a pleasant dining experience. Having said that, the food was very good. The service was average, a bit slow. The place was very busy.
