We were celebrating a birthday and Firebirds brought out creme brulee cheesecake for the table.

I ordered prime rib medium rare in anticipation of rewarming and not overcooking. The meat I received was cold and rare. They cooked it a bit more. I ordered glazed carrots which had no description and they arrived with goat cheese which I do not eat. I would have ordered a different side if I had known. Monday nights are advertised to be half-price bottles of wine with no stated restrictions. When we arrived for our reservation…on our Anniversary, we learned the promo is only in the bar Until 6:00. The promo is on the menu without any restrictions. We’ll return because we generally have a good experience, although I believe the overall quality and presentation of the food seems to be slipping a bit.

Not busy at all and the wait was ridiculous. Got our order wrong and had to wait the same amount of time again. No compensation or offer of a free dessert or anything. Went last night and everything was great. That’s why we went again today for brunch. So very disappointed. We were from out of town and the restaurant was right next door to our hotel. Neither time was very busy. They better get their act together or they won’t be there for long.

Went in again for the BBQ Rib special and this time brought our friends. And, while the ribs were good - they were not as tender and good as a couple of nights before. Our service started out great then dwindled to less service. We still enjoy dining at Firebirds but it's not always the excellent service we have come to enjoy.

Excellent ribs with lots of leftovers! The glazed carrots were outstanding! But the persistent gnats were annoying.

This has been a happy getaway place for my wife and I for years now and unfortunately it is not the same anymore! The food wasnt horrible by any means but it was hard physically and mentally to eat it, we had to fight off fruit flys/knats and flys our whole time dinning in which then in turn had my mental messed up because were these insects on the kitchen breeding? I didnt get to finish my sandwich because a knat landed on it! I will say that the waitress we had was great and even credited my sandwich but its was hard for her to stand by her food given the circumstances ! We will be finding a new place moving forward

The greeters who sat people lied to us repeated. We had a 7pm reservation and arrived at 6:55. They said they were running a bit behind and it would be 10 minutes, 15 at most. We checked in at 20 minutes, 30 minutes, always being told there were two reservations ahead of us and they sat at least a dozen groups. Finally, after we inquired why so many were seated ahead of us, including people who just walked in, they told us that that group must have had a reservation ahead of us. We pointed out that either meant that party was an hour late and were seated ahead of us, who were early, or they were lying. Suddenly, they had a table for us!! Food was adequate at best. I’m never going back.
