Our server was amazing. The food was good. I retrospectively sadly sat with a view of the expeditor kitchen line area. I got to see that all the veggie sides like broccoli come from individual plastic bags (just like the thin ziploc sandwich bags) pre-portioned and cooked in the bags. The bags are placed on the plates and then the expeditor pulls the plastic bag off. Being a waiter in the past, this method is used for efficiency. But in a world where there are surprise microplastics in everything, I was hoping that ordering healthy sides like broccoli or seasonal veggies meant healthy and not from being cooked in a plastic bag and left in a heater for hours absorbing all those plastics and possibly even BPA. I would love the restaurant to prepare these a safer way without using so much plastics.

7pm reservation through Open Table. Got there at 7. Got a large booth for the 2 of us. The only curiosity was our server, who came pretty quickly after we were seated, asked us what we wanted to drink while she was holding the drink menu! She gave us the drink menus, and came back after just a few minutes. The $39.95 three course selection is somewhat limited, but we both went with the sirloin steaks. Absolutely delicious. So were the accompanying garlic mashed potatoes and vegetables (although I gave the broccoli to my wife!). Very good Caesar salad preceded the main course. Wife had the cheesecake, I had the brownie and ice cream. Both excellent. It was fairly busy and so fairly noisy. But not so noisy that my wife and I couldn't have a conversation (it was our anniversary). Server Lesley was delightful--friendly, personable, yet efficient. She took good care of us! We had a few dietary concerns, and she got us answers as well as different salad dressings.

We had entree salads - the Colorado chicken and Ahi Tuna salad. We also had the salmon dinner. Everything was excellent! Don't miss out on the complimentary bread. It is awesome!

We had a lovely Christmas Eve dinner! Of course it was very busy. Fortunately we weren’t needing many refills etc so service was great for us. All of the appetizers and entrees were delicious! I was a little worried due to some other reviews that we might be disappointed in someway. It ended up being wonderful and not a single complaint! Steaks were cooked perfectly, salmon, and Baja shrimp pasta was delicious. The queso appetizer and onion rings with ranch were very good as well! Our waitress was sweet and very good too!

Our server was fantastic. The restaurant was in a festive mood - everyone was friendly. The food was really good and servings were large. A great place to go eat and have great service!

The experience was a mixed bag. The food was good. Our group of six was seated promptly for our 7:00 pm reservation. The server was prompt as well in setting our table up with water. It took a good bit of time to get the two beers that were ordered with those coming after the appetizers. I upgraded to a salad with my meal which never arrived and I missed out on the included veggies I had upgraded. Well into the meal we were asked if we wanted more bread. We had not received any bread up to that point. I think we were skipped when we ordered appetizers. I ordered a second beer and then after five minutes or so was asked if I had decided on a beer? I would hope just an off night as they were crowded.

We met up with some people we hadn’t known before. So the evening was already stressful. Firebirds helped us break the ice.

My wife and I love to dine at Firebirds when an opportunity arises. The food was incredible. The Tomahawk Pork Chop should not be missed. Every bite was better than the last. My wife had Chicken with Sun-dried tomato sauce over it and it was delicious. Food, drinks, and dessert are all top notch at Firebirds. An intimate, cozy dining experience to share with your family or that special someone.
