We tried Fiorella Rosso because it was a Marc Vetri restaurant on July 3rd. The first bad sign was that it was almost empty. The food was not available for many choices on the menu. the orders came out wrong and not as ordered. They even got the coffee wrong, giving us coffee when we selected espresso. Overall, it was just a poor experience and will not make our “we need to go back” list. Marc Vetri is a great chef and I have enjoyed many meals in Marc’s restaurants, but this was not one 0f them.

For some insight- we are no longer affiliated with Marc Vetri or the Vetri Group. We are currently in a transitional phase and under new management. We will be closing for remodel on July 14th and plan to reopen with a fresh take! With any transition, there are bumps in the road that we address and correct so that our guests do not receive a poor experience. The rebranding to an Italian restaurant dosent work. From the hostess, to server, to food, and time it took to get good all average and below. Nice try but too many other good options on the mainline

Always delightful, Fiore Rosso did not disappoint. We wanted to get there before the menu went through a major change as indicated in a couple of news reviews. The food is exemplary without being pretentious. The staff know how to handle all the levels of hospitality that go into a good experience from the greeting at the door to the farewells when leaving. Add to that good quality ingredients and care in plating and you get the idea. The freshness of the ingredients doesn't get camouflaged by overly precious sauces and garnishes so my husband's pasta was delicious and my salmon was perfectly prepared. This was simply a wonderful dinner with people who care. I do look forward to trying the new menu but the old one never disappointed.

The rosemary fries had no rosemary, and they had been reheated/ refried, which made them really bad. The tuna Crudo had lots of pieces of chips and not much tuna and it was quite average. The chicken Parmesan was over breaded and the cheese was not even melted.

Wonderful steak, pasta and salad as always. The french fries included nubs that were burned. This lack of attention to detail (they should not have been in the order to begin with; they cook differently than the longer pieces) intermittently rears its head and makes me shake my head. It was also freezing. We were by the open patio doors, and it was still very cold. Looking forward to returning.

Food was mediocre, considering the price. Family ordered pasta dishes that were average to fair. I spent $38 for scallop/mussel dish. Got #4 one inch scallops and about 3 small pieces of mussels. It had quartered tomatoes, not ripe and tasteless that I didn't bother eating. Yellow sauce thick and not great. Would not go back here.
