Great service. We went on a Friday afternoon and it wasn't too busy. The food was good - regular pub fare. What sets them apart is how attentive they were to our table.

I had an excellent dining experience at this Fionn MacCool’s restaurant location in Richmond Hill. My server was new and she did a very decent job of taking my order. The only issue or problem of note that I had during my dine-in visit was the carbonation or fizz of the fountain drink beverage I had ordered was getting very weak upon my receiving refills from the bar there. The beverage tasted very flat and dry with a watered down syrup-like flavour or taste to it. I addressed this a few times to my server and she didn’t know exactly what was wrong with the carbonation stream coming out of the beverage gun dispenser at the bar there. The manager was extremely helpful and very considerate of this shortcoming so he had my drink replaced with the exact same soft drink out of a brand new can instead for me, which tasted far more appealing than what I was getting from the usual draught dispenser. He also was helping my server learn about my using a promotional discount voucher that I wanted to redeem when paying for my bill, teaching her how the point of sale worked amongst other pieces of advice he was using to train her on the job there. He was so kind in fact that he sat down and had in-depth conversation with me at length and even offered me a free slice of carrot cheesecake for dessert, which was absolutely delicious! I really appreciate the engaging and caring manner in which he treated me there for my dinner as it was truly a worthwhile experience! I most certainly will be returning soon to this very same location as the food from the menu I ordered was very well-prepared and of really good value too! I want to thank the manager of this location and his staff for such a special and enjoyable dining experience! I’m looking most greatly forward to seeing them again very soon!

There was no parking space at all. I spent 20 minutes searching for a parking space.

Not our first time at Fionn MacCool's. Food was good, servers were friendly but the service itself was disappointing.

We were a group of 8. Reservations were for 6:15pm and we left at 9:45pm. Service was extremely slow, waitress was basically non existent and then gave us attitude and rolled her eyes when we questioned the bill. Don’t come here!!!

Food was ok. The server did not provide any recommendation. We got charged twice for the sweet potato fries when we only ordered one. Not happy with the server and the service.

We had a group of 11, it took me going up to the bar asking 3 girls to come over to take our drink order. No service. My burger was terrible overcooked. Salad was old and gross. I did have peers that said their meals were great so perhaps it was just my burger and my colleagues burger. We were out if drinks and it took forever for her to return. When she did she was more focus on clearing appetizer dishes than refilling drinks.

Service was ok. The guy was very friendly but there was obviously shortage of staff. Nice ambience and good noise level as we liked. Food was below mediocre. Garden veggie was not eatable , extremely dry and burnt around it. Calamari’s seemed like bread crumbs only. Everything so salty.

Waited over a hour for our food. Server rarely checked in to see how we were doing. When the food finally came, serve said, I guess that wasn't too bad. Poor service!!
