This special evening is a collaboration between Jenny & Francois and FiNNBAR, two establishments dedicated to low intervention and organic farming. Presented by Juniper Smith, of Jenny and Francois Selections, guests are sure to enjoy a thoughtfully curated collection of wines alongside a four-course meal crafted by our very own, Cal Peternell. The food and service and ambiance were just wonderful. Five people in our party ordered four appetizers and five entrees and two desserts and everything was delicious. The staff were very accommodating. We had asked to sit in a particular location in the restaurant and our table was exactly where we wanted it!

Finnbar has a wonderful vibe. The bar area is warm, comfortable and fun. The food is creative, fresh and very good. Love that the restaurant supports the local community and you can feel that connection in the restaurant's art work, staff and patrons. Finnbar is a good choice for a date night, girls night out or even a drink at the bar.

LOVED. As a same-sex family with a toddler we’re not always certain we’ll be welcome. But from start to finish the folks at Finnbar embraced us! The bartender brought fruit for the babe and the food was perfectly timed. We’re always grateful to find spots that celebrate our family and penchant for fine dining. 10/10 will be returning oh so soon!

First time here — had heard portions were small and selections other than vegetarian sparse. Must have course corrected, portions were perfect and diversity was ample — as well as the creativity. I had a fantastic halibut, started with ricotta fritters, can’t wait o go back!

I have never been disappointed with any meal at FiNNBAR. Gracious staff, delicious food and inventive libations. It all blends to a fabulous experience. My new favorite!

As usual, extremely limited menu with nothing we wanted to eat and what we did eat was not good. Corn polenta was fabulous but scallops were awful. Tough and over salted. As it’s one of two places in town to eat seems we’re held captive to someone’s vision of how things should be. If this was in a city you could just avoid. Here we’re stuck.

Just when we had almost given up on a restaurant that does everything right-we discovered Finnbar! From being greeted by the professional and friendly hostess, to our hip server who was able to answer questions about the menu and be attentive while not intrusive, our experience last Thursday was excellent. Our meals were delicious. The well crafted menu featuring local ingredients proves that you don’t have to offer a dozens of selections, rather just a few that are done really well. The wine and craft cocktail offerings were interesting and the overall vibe was really cool. We were celebrating our anniversary but never mentioned it, proving that some restaurants just ‘get it.’ You don’t need to tell anyone that it’s a special occasion because your dining experience at Finnbar will be excellent regardless of the reason you’re there.

Good food but no bread or salad, app was tiny and wine limited. Lovely atmospheric like Frenchtown everywhere.
