I am fortunate to live just five minutes from Frenchtown and Finnbar. This was my second time dining here since it opened a few months back and I was impressed both times with the food, service and ambiance. The renovations have provided a more casual, hip vibe to the place. The menu is so inventive and the execution was spot on. I ordered the gazpacho, which was beautifully presented and popping with flavor, as was the focaccia with pea and mint spread. It tasted as though someone had just gone to their garden to pick all the fresh ingredients. The torchio pasta was prepared perfectly al dente and full of flavor as well. The portions were generous. I was too full for dessert but I know I will be back soon for that as well. Atmosphere was lively, and yes, as some reviewers said, the acoustics in the bar area were a bit loud, but if you want a quieter dining experience, the dining room itself was not, and had perfectly spaced tables. What a wonderful addition to town! I will be back on a regular basis.

The menu changes daily and it was very interesting. Lots of great snacks and appetizers. Great place for drinks and small plates. I wish that the chairs were more compfy so I could really relax and enjoy the whole vibe. The walls were filled with interesting art work. The server and service was friendly and efficient. I am definitely returning-

Our evening at Finnbar was the most delightful we have had at a restaurant since moving to Bucks County in 2021. The restaurant is charming with original, compelling artwork on the walls. Kathy the host greeted us warmly and immediately seated us at our table. Jeff was a funny and super helpful waiter. Ethan, the GM, is a lovely, experienced guy who helped us choose the focaccia with goat cheese and tumeric to start. I had a Negroni spritz to begin and h’the frittatas filled ricotta accompanied by fennel salad and beans. My friend had pork loin (best ever) and we shared blueberry crisp with whip cream for dessert. Perfect summer dinner! Thank you so very much. We will return and bring family.

The food and service is always top-notch. Menus are well thought out always something for everyone. Food is always perfectly seasoned, fresh and tasty.

The ambiance is lovely and low key. The service friendly and knowledgeable. The food was fantastic! It was our anniversary and we were gifted some delicious nibbles at the bar by our friends line chefs Ian Knauer and Karl Wagner who made it very special. It was a wonderful evening. We will be back!

Fantastic food and service with a great overall vibe. My Boulevardier was spot on. Only issue was the noise on the bar side. It rose to the level where it was difficult to converse.

The level of noise in the bar was very high, making it impossible to have a conversation. Once we were moved to the other dining room, the noise level was acceptable.

What a welcome addition to the area!! I have been craving this sort of restaurant: amazing food and amazing flavors, appealing ambiance, not loud, not pretentious, not fussy, lovely staff! We'll be back!
