Within a few minutes of sitting down the waitress asked what we would like to drink, we’d not had chance to look at the menu. Felt rushed. Same for ordering the food. My main of muscles came (£19, no fries included), and the bread I think was stale. No bowl for the empty shell was provided, I had to ask. Also grabbed my own vinegar as the waitress didn’t ask if I was wanted anything else and couldn’t grab anyone’s attention. 6 of my muscles were closed so couldn’t be eaten. Not the nicest muscles in general, pretty average. My friend enjoyed the monk fish scampi. The wine we had was lovely. Reasonably priced, but moules frittes should come as a whole dish. I paid extra for a small portion of fries; these are cheap, provide more! First time in a very long time I didn’t leave a tip. A shame as I loved my first visit here.

We had the small plates, 6 between 2 of us. All of them were excellent and easily enough for 2 to share each plate. Our favourites were the seared tuna, crispy squid, scallops and gnocchi, beautiful. Service was good. Had some lovely wine. Price reasonable. Will definitely go again and would recommend. Really enjoyed ourselves.

First time here with my wife on our anniversary but it won’t be the last. Pleasant surroundings and great service. The food was excellent especially the monk fish scampi and the fish pie! Thank you for a lovely evening.

Lovely food. Good chefs and helpful staff. It would be good to see the same staff for more than a week or two.

Consistently good! Has become our favourite local restaurant for high quality food especially the Sunday Roasts.

Stunning food. Atmosphere was lacking due to being a quiet evening business wise but the food and service were exceptional. Can see why it's so highly ranked on Trip Advisor. Highly recommend!

The restaurant and food was nice however what really spoiled the experience was the horrendous female toilets. Broken toilet seat hanging off the loo and a very very unclean toilet. This was early in the evening so no excuse. It did make us wonder how clean the kitchen would be if this was the standard of the bathrooms. As a result we won't go back.
