Our award winning head chef Francis Martinez executes a menu that honours local producers to deliver contemporary dishes with a soft french influence. From our celebrated sablefish to the finest local beef, from small delicious snacks to robust courses, we aim to create a special experience for every guest.

The attention to detail we seek starts with our local farmers and producers and transcends to our preparation and cooking styles. Join us for a one-of-a-kind dining experience at our Roost. Available for a maximum of 6 guests, on the 30th of January, 2025 at 7:00pm. Executive Chef Francis Martinez will prepare a 5 course meal that's sure to delight. Enjoy front row seats of the kitchen working their magic along with personalized interactions from our team and views of the main dining room. Due to the uniqueness of this experience the menu will not be shared prior to the day; dietaries can be accommodated with 7 days notice. All payments are non-refundable however dates can be moved, pending availability, with two weeks notice. Beverages are charged on a consumption basis and bespoke wine matches can be curated with the onsite team. We cannot wait to host you

Had a wonderful experience with friends sitting at the “roost” which is the chefs counter. Our server Sarah was excellent and one of a kind! She gave us perfect cocktail recommendations and was friendly and attentive. It was nice getting to speak with the chefs as well Vita worked magic with preparing beautiful desserts. Will be bringing clients here in the future!

Delicious start to our meal with a small amuse bouche, followed by perfect tempura green beans and crispy Brussels sprouts. Service was great and our mains were rich and flavourful. Portions were generous and a good value. Absolutely no room for dessert, hopefully next visit!

Our server was so attentive and had such a great knowledge of the menu. She didn't steer us wrong in any of our choices.

While we can completely understand the challenges on NYE, the entire experience was sadly missing the mark. Our service took over 2 hours and we often were served our courses waiting for our wine - glasses sitting empty for over 15min. Due to this, throughout the evening we were often beverage-less. While the food was beautiful presented and had all the right elements, it was sadly under seasoned and not served hot. We really wanted to love this place - the interior is beautifully curated and the food looked stunning. Even at the end of the evening when the restaurant was starting to empty, we waited over 15min to get served an espresso. I will say the highlight was the amazing hostess, who went out of her way to be helpful and kind.

Made a reservation for NYE dinner for four. There was a set menu and a very limited open menu. The food was very good and service was excellent Our server was helpful and genuinely friendly and personable. Of course it was super busy because of the time of year, but our overall experience was still wonderful. Would like to return to enjoy the regular menu, which was what I was looking forward to originally.

We pre-booked the New Years Eve package. This was my second time at this restaurant, the first time was incredible, this time much was left to desire. Unfortunately it seem the restaurant staff were overwhelmed by both tables and a wedding upstairs. Service was slow, our first course arrived before our cocktails. My first and second course were barely warm, and not to the standard I expected from Fine Print. Dessert was mediocre as well. I will likely give the restaurant another chance, however will avoid special events.

Wonderful experience this evening! We started with cocktails - all with interesting names and interesting flavours. The newspaper garnish was so fun! We enjoyed the oysters - so fresh and flavourful - and the whipped brie to start. We ordered mussels, lobster risotto, short rib and chicken supreme as our mains. All very different, but delicious! Seasoned and cooked to perfection. We finished with dessert and the bartender indulged me with a blueberry tea. We will be back and would not hesitate to recommend to our friends. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
