NEVER TRUST A ROUND PIZZA!

Figs Pizza is most likely like no other pizza you’ve ever had. Don’t be surprised by the large freeform shape—its specifically part of what will go into your overall experience in enjoying this unique meal.

The crust will be so crisp and thin it will be close to brittle. That finely crisped quality is achieved by the special technique used in making the dough and a short cooking time at a very high temperature. The toppings are the finest freshest available and are, as often as possible local produce and other ingredients.

A distinctive quality of a Figs Pizza is that it will cool down quickly. If you take a pizza with you please follow the directions provided by the restaurant when heating it again at home.

This place is closed!!! There was no notification that they are out of business but OpenTable allowed me to make a reservation

Upon arrival, we were told to “find another place” as the restaurant only had outdoor seating remaining and it was beginning to rain. At no time when making the reservation did I indicate or was informed that my table would be outdoors. I was aware of the forecast and had every intention of eating indoors. Secondly, it was clear that staff had mismanaged and miss assigned tables as at least one four top had been given to a party of 2 leaving an open two top that my party of 4 couldn’t fit. Lastly and most upsetting was that no staff made any effort to work with us and find a solution. Recommending that we “find another place” is not a solution but rather an easy way to place all of the burden onto us. This was incredibly disappointing, and I would not recommend making a reservation here.

The food was good. The service was lacking: two of our party of four received our salads before the entrees, the other two received salads after the entrees. The waitstaff didn't seem to see this as out of the ordinary (their response when we inquired about the salads was just "oh yes, they're coming"). There was only one sparkling wine available of the five on the menu. There were other menu items that were not available (non-alcoholic beer, some other wines). We enjoyed our dinner but I can't recommend this restaurant based on our experience.

Unfortunately, this place has gone downhill. While the pizza was still delicious, none of the wines that we wanted were available. And we are not picky on wine, from the menu choice of about 10 reds, whites and rose, they only had two available. The tomato soup was a white cream base with pieces of tomato and spinach floating in it, and tasteless. The bathroom was smelly and dirty and located right next to the kitchen. Thank goodness we were outside in the street to eat, if we had gone inside to begin with we wouldn’t have eaten there.

Our favorite pizza was nowhere near what we’ve enjoyed here before. Todd English should be ashamed. Just doughy and minimal adds like the mushrooms, onions and eggplant parm and burnt.

Love Figs!! Still one of the best places for its value on Charles St. Their pizzas are amazing!

Great pizza and great staff! The Quattro Formaggio pizza was some of the best I’ve had!

As always the food and service were great. We enjoyed the pizza and pasta! The venue was close to the start of the 5K race so a bonus to be able to check that out before the race.

When we arrived promptly at our reservation time, we smelled cleaning chemicals and saw workers taking out the trash. The woman at the counter said they had decided to close early and that they never saw our reservation, until she checked their device when we arrived. A complete waste of our time, completely unprofessional and no explanation for the early closure.
