Had a lovely meal tonight. The starter was one I didn't want to end (tempura prawn!) The service was great, and although we were told they were short staffed it certainly didn't impact the service we received.

Disappointing, have eater here on other occasions and it has always been good. Limited menu, staff not as attentive as usual. Was not good value for money.

Lovely dining room. Warm and friendly staff. The food was excellent. I had salmon and it was perfectly done. Lovely experience.

Enjoyed our meal but it was not outstanding or memorable. Starters were given at staggered times when there were just 2 of us, so one was going cold before 2nd one arrived. Our second round of drinks were forgotten until our meal was finished and we asked again. Desert was very underwhelming. Creme brulee was thin and tasteless, and very small and shallow for £8. I make far nicer ones at home which are creamy and luscious and flavoured with vanilla. They are very easy to make well so I was very disappointed in the standard. In saying that, we enjoyed our meal and the standard of food was nice for starter and main.

I really have no idea what the food and value are because we never got served any food. We got there and were seated and 20 minutes later nobody had come to offer us menus or water or get drink orders. The people next to us told us we should take the opportunity to leave because they had waited 20 minutes before they were acknowledged and had waited forever for their drinks. The hilarious part was when we left, and the the staff said “thank you for coming” not realizing we had never been acknowledged or served and that we just sat there for 20 minutes.

I would not recommend this restaurant. The service was horrible. It took 15 minutes for a waiter to come and take our drink order and even after 10 more minutes we had to ask the bartender where our drinks were! He said the order hadn’t been given to him. Once we complained about the horrible service, the manager got involved. But it really was too late. We should have walked out like the family of 5 who left when no one acknowledged their existence for 20 minutes! They played a game of cards and decided to leave. This place needs to rethink their customer service!

Nice place with excellent food, very friendly staff and moderate prices. I thoroughly recommend this place to anybody that wants to spend a nice dinner in a cosy atmosphere.

The restaurant was very busy when we got there but staff were attentive and as we both had special birthdays we received a complimentary Prosecco which was a nice touch. I was slightly disappointed with where we sat as this was booked months ago and we were in middle of floor with staff and diners squeezing past us. However, the food was lovely and cannot fault staff who were both friendly and professional. The whole meal was faultless in terms of flavour and portion sizes. We had a great night and definitely will be back. Thanks
