Located in downtown Collingwood, Ontario, we are a family-owned and operated Greek restaurant. Offering a spacious patio, private party room, and elegant dining area, we also feature a market, takeout counter, and catering services. Fig and Feta was founded by Bessie Lewis approximately five years ago, and since then, we have undergone three expansions. Currently, we employ about 12 immediate family members. Our kitchen manager Jermaine Wright has worked with Bessie for over 10 years, and assists in running our back of house in both our restaurants. Additionally, we added Anastasia Papoutsis, who makes all our Greek dips, and desserts in House. The rest of our team comprises locals with lots of prior industry experience, including some who worked alongside Bessie Lewis before she opened her own restaurants.

I think our waitress forgot about our table. Service could have been more attentive. When I arrived no one greeted me or said hello. At the end when we wanted to pay we were told the machine was in use and we would have to wait. We looked over on the side station and the machine was sitting there. Food is good, service could have been better.

Best grilled octopus I’ve ever had and reasonably priced. The service was ridiculously slow but they did say it was their busiest night of the year due to some very large parties and a street festival so we had to wait an hour and a half fr our meal. They ended up comin an appetizer when the bill came. I would definitely go back and hope that the service is faster.

Anniversary dinner. Salmon over cooked. Told waitress, she told chef. Chef agreed overcooked, my husband ate his, cause he was hungry. I got another piece of salmon after I had finished rice and veggies. Second piece also over cooked. Took it home for sandwiches. Paid full price for both meals. We have had great meals there. Must depend on whose cooking. Waitress was ok, but not friendly. Next year anniversary will definitely be a different restaurant.

This was our first time here. Came with friends who love it and have been telling us about fig and feta for a long time. My husband and daughter are picky and didn’t like the sound of it. But finally gave it a try and we all loved it. Our server was knowledgeable and fun Thanks for a great dinner

The restaurant closes at 9pm so we made an 8:15 reservation through OpenTable. We arrived at 8:15 and as we were walking in we were told by the waiter that the restaurant was closed. When we explained that we had an 8:15 reservation, he said “ we never look at that”. He did tell us we could check with the young ladies in the restaurant but, even though we stood there for 3-4 minutes, neither looked up to see what we needed. It is a shame they were more interested in closing than taking care of customers. We come up here at least once a year staying at friends condo and enjoying all that the area offers. Safe to say we will letting our friends know what happened to us. Luckily there are plenty of fine restaurants in Collingwood our evening wasn’t ruined. Side note; even though I left my comments on the restaurant website, we have not heard from them at all! 3 days later.

we ordered and our server was amazing. She brought us house wine That was delicious. We got our appetizer that was very tasty and ordered our meals. Unfortunately, I noticed something moving in my salad so very quietly we let the server know they offer to replace it but obviously we declined. we stayed and had our meal but at that point we have lost our appetite so we didn’t even finish our meal. The food was very tasty and the predation was amazing, but we have lost our appetite. They cleared our table and asked us why we didn’t finish our food, we told him that the food was very good, but we lost our appetite and we couldn’t really finish it We received our bill and was very surprised they did not even offer to give it his discount or comp our salad that had something in them We paid and left and even a good tip to the waitress because it wasn’t her fault. But I will never ever go back again. I felt very disrespected.

Our service was excellent! Only issue was that our octopus was a little over done with burnt ends yet overall amazing!
