Field & Tides, located in Houston’s historic Heights neighborhood features an open canvas menu that reflects Executive Chef Travis Lenig’s culinary experiences. Chef Lenig’s roots stem from his love for many different types of cuisine such as Southern, Italian, French and Asian. “Field” is represented by locally sourced vegetables, pork, poultry, beef and game, while “Tides” is seafood that is locally sourced as well, with an emphasis on the Gulf. The upscale casual restaurant is open for lunch and dinner daily with brunch served on Saturday and Sunday. Patrons can enjoy a spacious patio for outdoor dining, as well as a separate private dining room available to rent for all your special occasion needs.

Dinner was absolutely FABULOUS!! The entire experience was FABULOUS. Great ambiance, great service and the food was absolutely delicious. Everything on the menu was appealing to order. And everything which we ordered was outstandingly delicious. Will definitely go back there again. Give it 11 out of 10 stars. 👍

The menu and food was fantastic! Very charming restaurant - simple but elegant inside. The service was just ok - fairly slow and not attentive at all even on a fairly slow night. I would definitely go back for the food.

Restaurant Week menu was a bargain. Redfish entree was delicious. Waiter was friendly and attentive. Love the laidback vibe with an upscale dining experience.

Nice dinner experience. Good table spacing, good noise level. The gumbo was good (not great). The chicken piccata was excellent. Perfectly cooked and the sauce was perfect. The waiter kept trying to rush us but was fine. I’ll be back.
