Fiamma is a full service authentic Italian Restaurant featuring the first truly authentic Neapolitan Wood burning pizza oven in Monroe county. With an all natural flame our oven maintains an internal temperature of 1000 degrees cooking the pizza in 45 seconds leaving it with a truly unique taste and texture. The rest of our menu is reflective of traditional southern italian dishes native to the Campania region. With diverse ingredients and seasonal fruits and vegetables we strive to offer only the freshest available seasonal dishes. As the seasons change so will our menu.

The small, quaint dining room was designed to resemble an old fashioned Italian osteria. Rich with wood and other earth elements Fiamma is a warm inviting atmosphere. The Italian countryside was inspiration for both the menu and the dining space. While at Fiamma you will be greeted with a smile, and treated like family.

The Host was amazing and so Friendly. The Bartenders rocked !!! SO did the drink specials - I miss that purple tequila drink. The special artichoke spinach pizza was to die for amazing !!! As well as the Linguini and clams !!! Delicious !!!! Would love to have some warm bread with some dipping oil and garlic would be a nice touch. I can't wait to go back !

First of all - the food was great. I had read the wildly mixed reviews before we came and decided to try it anyway. Our server was lovely but it took an hour and 15 minutes to get our dinners with a half empty restaurant. On top of that, someone came and cleaned part of the upstairs dining room with a horrible industrial smelling cleaner while people were eating. Totally nausea inducing. Food was great (though one pasta dish was way undercooked - not al dente - just undercooked and extremely salty). Will not return. Lots of amazing choices in Rochester!

The lights and rustic decor created a nice ambiance. Unfortunately it was humid and hot, seemed like the AC wasn’t working upstairs. Our waitress was very friendly and had great food and drink suggestions for us. Only complaint about service was that the app plates were very large and never cleared, so that when our dinner plates started coming, we ran out of room on the table. Our cocktails were delish and refreshing. We ordered a few of the pizzas. Delicious dough but the pizzas were cooked unevenly, charred on the crust but undercooked in the middle. Very yummy chewy crust. The family style salad was nice. We also had the octopus and a chicken dish. The portions were generous. We felt that overall the dishes could have had a little more finesse.

Good experience overall. Several specials were out of stock and we felt somewhat rushed. Overall good experience, will likely go back.

The pasta that I had with my clams was too thick and undercooked. With baby clams you should be making a linguine. My husband had a veal chop that was nicely cooked and tender.
