Whole Lemon sole
landed in Cornwall served with parsley and caper butter, filleted and served with large leaf, garlic spinach.
Haunch of wild venison
served on a carrot and parsnip mash with a homemade redcurrant relish and a port wine jus.
Chicken Kyiv
“...probably the best in the world...” served on pink peppercorn sauce with hand cut triple fried chips.

The best meal we had in two weeks in England. The host is friendly and welcoming. And she and the waiter took turns making sure we were taken care of. I will schedule a return trip to England around their holiday.

This restaurant was recommended to us by a friends. It was our final night in London and it was such fun to have this be our last experience after a week of rushing around and having some less than perfect meals. The food was delicious and Ffiona made sure they were prepared exactly as we requested. Highly recommend.

Food was a bit pricey, but a nice atmosphere. Service was good.

Disappointing. Quite a wait for food (40mins). We ordered the cooked breakfast and the bacon was overcooked, the food was just about warm and overall the quality and portion was not just not great for the price. Didn't send back as we had waited so long already. Shame.

The food was awful! Very little to chose from on a Sunday menu, was only offered brunch on the menu when roast was also available but not mentioned unless asked. No kids menu although the restaurant came up in a “kid friendly” search. Toast with brunch food was cooked soo hard, hurt to eat!

Hi Michelle, We are really sorry you didn't enjoy our food - hopefully, you let the team know too as we know they would have done all they could to make your visit better and make sure you left with happy and full tummies! We are very much kid-friendly (just last week someone said a huge thank you to us for looking after their children too) so it is very sad to read you didn't think so. We will of course, make sure everyone gets your feedback,as a small family-run restaurant we always like to make sure everyone has a great time and we are sorry that you didn't on this visit, but we would love to see you again, should you want to try our other menus too.

For a brilliant brunch, this place is the best. Good, friendly service, excellent food, fairly priced.

Amazing GF pancakes!! Such a cute place, we were running late bc of the tube but they were super accommodating!!
