Our charming establishment is nestled within the enchanting Danford's Hotel, Marina and Spa, situated in the heart of historic Port Jefferson. As the premier waterfront dining destination, Ferryman's offers both exciting cuisine and a tranquil ambiance.

Throughout the summer season, from Memorial Day to Labor Day, we serenade our patrons with live music performances every evening. Whether you prefer the cozy indoor setting or the refreshing outdoors on our Admirals deck (weather permitting), we provide the perfect setting for your dining pleasure.

Please note that reservations are available for indoor dining exclusively, while outdoor seating operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Join us for a memorable dining experience by the waterfront at Ferrymans Grille.

Went for my mother’s birthday on a Friday night at 6:15. Inside seating , only 3’table occupied. Service was terrible. Food was worse , over cooked , warm at best , Hamburger over cooked and lukewarm . Mashed potatoes were cold, pistachio gelato was gritty . Would never go back

Server was great. Cocktails were good. Nice background music was playing. Calamari sauce was delicious. So was the salmon dish. Threw in a cake for my wife’s 50th birthday on the house which was a very nice touch. Great scenery. Beautiful views of ferries coming in and pulling out. Great night out!

Beautiful dining room and view of the harbor. Service was very good. Unfortunately, the food was “eh”.

Six of us from different areas met for lunch on an overcast afternoon. Manager George was very accommodating as we waited for 2 of our party and he made sure we had a corner window table. Food was fresh and flavorful. We shared apps of fried calamari and cheese board then had a combination of burgers , salmon burgers, crab cakes and NY strip steak. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the cocktails didn’t disappoint either! Looking forward to returning!!

Underwhelming food. Terribly disappointed. Had the lobster roll. Too much mayonnaise and a large brioche bun just to fill you up. My boyfriend had requested the linguini in scampi sauce and received spaghetti with melted butter. Requested the waiter clean off our table which fell on deaf ears and the floors were filthy with food & crumbs. Management needs retraining. Just terrible.

The food was horrible and pricy. My $50 steak was a hocky puck even though I ordered medium well. 5 yuca fries came with my order. My friend who is a cook returned her food and complained. My other friend ate her burger even though it was horrible. Silverware looked dirty The only thing I like was sitting by the water with friends. But I should have done it else where. The server was nice tried to help us out. She gave us a percentage off. I should have picked up clues, it was empty at 12 noon. I should have also read the reviews.

Very slow service on a not busy lunch day. Food presentation was equally mediocre.
