The food was good. The table was not. The table and chairs were uncomfortable and located next to a broken outdoor tarp. I didn’t know they had part of their outdoor tarp broken off. It made dining outside colder than I was anticipating.

If your going to seat in patio you should make sure its warm with plenty of heaters. I sat with my furry coat all through the meal. When we blowed you can see our condisation. Salad had way too much dressing and chicken was dry. Very disappointing on Valentine’s Day meal.

The small plates are such a hit! The Lentil Soup was`thick and filling, simply delicious. We also had the Caesar Salad, and three different pasta dishes. We ended up taking some of the leftovers home. Thank you to Frank, Lori and the Staff for offering delectable small meals that are outstanding!

We have been to Ferro twice and both times did not disappoint! Our server was amazing!!! The food is so delicious!

This was our favorite dinner in Idyllwild! Service was fantastic (they accommodated a shift in our reservation change, sat us at a convenient location for our baby's stroller, and were just super welcoming and friendly throughout) and food was delicious with good-sized portions. The steamed clams appetizer (vongole al vapore) was especially good, as was the wild boar lasagna, linguine fra diavolo, and butterscotch budding.

We always have a good experience at Ferro. The food is excellent and always fresh. The menu is diverse. The ambiance can't be beat. They are very dog friendly, with a front and back patio. Jazz on Tuesday nights is fabulous, but you must reserve well ahead of time. Pizzas (although not my first choice - this is not a pizza joint) are a fabulous pick up option for locals and visitors. Try the family meal, only available on Sunday night. It is 3 courses. Try the Open Table App, or book thru their website for reservations. IMHO, one of the 2 top restaurants in Idyllwild.
