First time visit. A popular place to meet with excellent, nicely presented and unique dishes. A delicious experience. Very good service and the champagne/merlot were excellent. My only criticism is that the portions for a hungry person were very small, which made the cost seem rather premium for the amount of food received. My partner who in my opinion likes (too) small amounts was very happy and would return tomorrow…

Unpretentious Gourmet Having visited Ferma three times, I can confidently say that it is a hidden gem, perfect for those who seek a gourmet experience without the fuss. Yesterday's lunch, however, elevated my opinion to new heights. The meal began with a refreshing crab salad with gazpacho sauce . The crab was fresh, with the gazpacho adding just the right amount of tang and zest. It’s a dish that exudes simplicity yet delivers on flavor. Next, we indulged in the squid ink dish, which was, quite simply, outstanding. The deep, briny flavors were perfectly balanced, and the dish managed to be both bold and interesting. The merguez, served with roasted carrots and pistachio, was another highlight. The overall dish was rich and flavorful, its spiced notes perfectly complemented by the sweetness of the carrots and the crunch of the pistachios. For cheese lovers, the cheese plate is a must-order. Each selection was thoughtfully chosen. My favorite cheese was the “stinking bishop”. Overall, the lunch at Ferma was lovely, reaffirming that this restaurant is much more than just a good place for an unpretentious gourmet lunch. I’ll undoubtedly be returning.

Very interesting food - so different from menus found in local pubs - and charming and attentive service. Not cheap but great quality and our party of hour really enjoyed it.

Our party of 7 ate at Ferma for the Mezze Feast on Friday evening which was truly a feast! Very generous servings of each of the delicious and interesting plates. The sauces for each plate were wonderful. Very tasty hummus which was devoured with very fresh pitta bread. Highly recommend the High Weald Halloumi, Honey Filo, Pistachio & Pomegranate. Very friendly and attentive service throughout.

3rd visit.. excellent again! Goat's curd w beetroot and Monkfish - simply outstanding flavours and presentation, delicious. Very friendly service, unrushed and we had a simply wonderful long lunch. We will keep returning - must try dinner sometime as well. Can not recommend highly enough!

The food was incredible! Some really interesting and truly unique dishes. Amazing flavours. The freshness of the food shone through. I highly recommend it, and I will definitely be back! The service was also fantastic, very attentive when we needed it and left alone when we didn’t. The best dining experience I have had in a while!

Went for brunch - food and service was excellent. Only downside was the price for a small glass of sparkling wine - £12 to £14. As we were celebrating a birthday we had the sparkling rose. It was delicious but I would have liked the option of something cheaper e.g Prosecco or cava.

The food plates are delicious. It was a tapas style lunch menu. The fish, meat and veg were all really tasty. We had 3 main plates and 1 bread plate to start. There was enough for two of us to share. The service was very good. It is expensive though as an ad hoc lunch option. £37/head with 3 soft drinks between us and a hot chocolate at the end. I think I would only come for a special occasion in the future. The farm shop has lots of lovely things and there is a deli counter. The toilets were really well kept - the whole place is spotlessly clean and a very pleasant place to spend a couple of hours. There's also outside seating. If you want to try something new and tasty in Ripley, definitely investigate.
