Chef Evan Funke’s cozy Felix has been a smash hit since it opened in 2017, garnering raves from Eater, Esquire, Bon Appétit, and more. For the best experience, check out the action in the central "pasta lab" as you enjoy handmade noodles like Funke’s signature rigatoni all’amatriciana with big chunks of guanciale. No meal here is complete without an order of the sfincione, a Sicilian focaccia doused in olive oil, or the crispy fried squash blossoms stuffed with ricotta.

Unfortunately my birthday dinner could have been better….very loud, very crowded, hard to pass through. We were rushed. 2 tables of 2 were near us and came in before us. One left after us and the other right before. Focaccia bread was the saltiest I’ve ever experienced. Squash blossoms, my favorite, were thrown on a plate but very delicious. Server was fair but no real personality. Marguerite pizza was yummy. Tiramisu used to be in a nice bowl-some changes to that as well but very good. Bar should carry Tito’s vodka or at least cranberry juice. Table staff is still the best I’ve ever seen! May be the last time I go there as I’m trying to take a job out of California. Thank you for my birthday dinner!

Warm and knowledgeable team made our dining experience very enjoyable. Tom made great recommendation with the exceptional wine list. Can’t wait to go back!

Good service. Great Italian wine list. Nice patio. Pasta was under-cooked across both dishes. Not al-dente but under cooked and overly chewy. Red sauce seemed thin which made the tough pasta even less enjoyable. Bread was good, prawns also good. Chairs hard and uncomfortable for a nice experience.

Food and service are always top notch. Pastas and pizzas are the way to go. For cocktails, I always go with the classics and get a Negroni or black Manhattan.

It’s been a while since I last dined at Felix. It’s every bit as good as I remember; perhaps better. The Buratta w/ nectarines & peaches was sublime.

It has been a couple of years since we had been to Felix. Our last experience wasn’t the greatest: half way through the appetizer the unfriendly waiter told us we had 30mins left to leave the restaurant (they had not even served us the mains…). Anyways, all that to say that this time we had THE BEST TIME! Our waiter Tyler was awesome and in combination with the honest, polite and friendly sommelier Tom, we had a blast! The food was exceptional, the drinks outstanding, the vibe and treatment were top notch! Everything was perfect! Oh and the desserts.. yum! Highly recommend trying Felix. It’s back on the list of my top restaurants in LA!

Took a family member that was visiting from out of town to try out the place, I wanted to try it for while since it got a lot of hype and the reviews are great. Sadly I have to say we were super disappointed. We ordered the bread, margarita pizza, 2 different pastas (pesto & spicy meat - forgot the name) and the 14oz steak. Bread was good and pizza was Ok but all wet and floppy, you couldn’t hold it in your hand. The pastas were absolutely horrible, to the point that we had 1 bite and returned the first one, the second pasta arrived after a few minute and was a 3/10 at best but I was already embarrassed to return it as well. But really, when you pay $130 (!!!) for a steak, you expect it to be at least decent! It was an absolute disgrace, meat quality was terrible and it was made medium well when we asked for medium rare. We finished our drink and asked for a check - paid and left disappointed. I have to say that for me - this is one of the biggest disappointments I’ve had in LA. $350 for a terrible culinary experience, unfortunately I will not come back or recommend it to anyone.
