Felina Summit extends the legacy of Felina Ridgewood and Felina Steak in Jersey City. Guests can indulge in elevated Italian comfort food prepared with modern techniques, showcased in a large scale open kitchen adorned with terrazzo and mosaic marble detailing. Julie greeted my husband and I with a warm smile last night. She was attentive and personable throughout our time dining. Furthermore, I was pleasantly surprised, as I had watched reviews plummet during the course of the last month. Needless to say, expectations had been low ahead of our 5:30 reservation Tuesday evening. The space is beautiful and vibrant. It has two distinct dining areas: one casual and the other more intimate, with a lovely ambiance, I might add. We preferred the intimate setting and proceeded to assert ourselves to be seated there. Why, we were not asked about our preference is puzzling since it was still early in the night with ample seating available. Getting back to Julie... It was evident she was a consummate professional. However, the staff supporting her clearly were not. While respectful and kind, they lacked polish. I'd say training is still needed. That being said, we were fortunate to have secured an early reservation where Julie would absorb any missteps. As a result, we had a lovely evening. As for our dining experience, the recommended Saffron Arancini and Felina Meatballs appetizers were delicious. The Margherita Pizza was just adequate. Both the NY Strip and Chicken Milanese were excellent. The desserts were very good and made in-house but lacked creativity. All in all, I was pleased with Felina. I think the venue lends itself to a festive night out with friends or family. The bar scene seemed energetic. We left shortly before 8pm and consequently appreciated the noise level being relatively low during our dining time. To be sure, I would not have had this experience on a weekend. With time, I'm sure my observations get addressed. I would recommend Felina and look forward to their success in Summit.

I was disappointed to say the least. Drinks were okay. Menu was very limited. Food was just okay. The price of the food was too high for the quality. I don’t mind paying those prices, but I do when the food isn’t up to the price standards. The service…. AWFUL. We waited about 20min just for bread. The waiters don’t seem like they know what they are doing. When the busboys actually came, they literally took the napkins from my lap while I was still eating. The ambiance and venue are quite pretty! There was a live singer that was very good also! DO BETTER FELINA!

Fabulous first experience at Felina Summit! Food was delicious and reasonably priced and the environment is beautiful and energetic - perhaps a little too loud, but overall we look forward to returning soon!

Service needs improvement to match the price point. Food is okay not great. Cocktails were good. We had higher hopes for this given the extensive renovation.

Our waitress was attentive and lovely. In particular she complied with our request to time the delivery of courses according to our wishes. All enjoyed our meals - the salmon, the meatballs, the beet salad. The cheesecake was light and and creamy and topped with a just sweet enough blueberry sauce.
