We had a great dinner at Fava for a party of 8. The dining room has live music, the ambiance was beautiful and the food/ service was great. Steaks were cooked perfectly medium rare, the fish was cleaned tableside and the risotto with scallops were perfectly prepared. When your silverware is refreshed between appetizers and your main course, you know the attention to detail well be great. Very conveniently located too.

First time there. Food and service what very good. We loved the piano. We were in the other room and could not really hear it over the music. I would turn the music off and let the piano be heard throughout. Eli was very attentive to all the guest and very pleasant to deal with.

Worst experience here. Had reservation for weeks knowing that it would busy on Valentine’s Day. Selected 7pm to hear the piano player; was seated in the WORST table in the restaurant near the bathroom and kitchen. Never even knew the piano player was there! Complained to Maria about this. Nothing was done. She tried to comp the dessert and coffee but we had ALREADY paid the bill. Too little, too late. Boo!!

Price gouging for Valentine’s Day!!! Avoid these scam artists. Chicken parm with pasta was $28 last week. On valentines, chicken parm without pasta is $34 and a small side of pasta is another $13! There wasn’t anything to justify this. No live music, no extras for the holiday. Just crazy! Lost me as a customer.

This was our first time going to Fava and it was a wonderful experience. It was Valentine’s Day and we unfortunately got stuck in a huge traffic jam due to an accident. We called and informed them we would be about 30 minutes late. They were so understanding! When we arrived, we were seated immediately which we were not expecting! The food was incredible and the wait staff was wonderful! Cannot wait to return!

Valentin's Day is always a busy restaurant day. They handled the crowd well. Our meals could have been warmer but, considering the crowd, not a long wait.

This was my second time at Fava, and my husband's first...we went for Valentine's Day with reservations made weeks before...All in all the dinner was very good; however, it was very expensive. Everything on the menu that night was ala carte, so prices added up quickly. If I remember correctly, my piece of salmon ( a decent size) was $40, and the sides we ordered ( the vegetable medley and the roasted potatoes) were $12 and $10 each respectively. The sides were advertised as being "for the table," but the portions were barely enough for one person, so this was very disappointing. The salmon was very good, as was the eggplant my husband ordered. The burrata we ordered as an appetizer was also very good, as was the dark chocolate mousse we shared for dessert. We also each enjoyed a glass of delicious Italian wine, Biade al Cocca, a chianti. The portions were not what you might expect from an Italian restaurant. I usually take home leftovers, but not this time.

Despite the large turnout for lovers celebrating Valentine's Day, the excellent quality of the food and service was maintained. Our dishes were prepared exactly as we requested.
