We started Fatto a Mano in Brighton in 2015, serving authentic and affordable Neapolitan pizza, made with fresh ingredients, in a friendly environment. For us, everything starts with our dough. Soft and pillowy, our pizza dough is made fresh every day, using only the best Italian 00 flour, salt, water and yeast. We let our dough prove for at least 24 hours – the slow proving means we’re able to use minimal quantities of yeast, so our pizzas are light and easily digestible. We use carefully selected Italian and local British ingredients from a handful of small, independent suppliers to top our pizzas. Finally, our pizzaioli cook the pizzas in our oven at about 450 degrees, for no more than 90 seconds, in true Neapolitan style.

PIZZA

Naples is the birthplace of pizza… Soft and pillowy, rather than thin and crispy or a pizza pie. Our dough is made by us every day, proved for a minimum of 24 hours, then topped by our pizzaioli who cook every pizza in our ovens at 450+ degrees. Buon appetito!

Absolutely faultless experience once again, and the pineapple special pizza…what can I say I am still dreaming about it, stunning ingredients and flavours. Service was sublime and not just for us, there was great vibes all round. We will be back soon!!

Always good. Service always first class, pizza (Napolitana), fabulous. Value for money? Had to think about this. I enjoyed a lovely hour and a half here. Cost was the top end of reasonable, however.

It was my first time,but rest of family been before. From the time we walked in to the time we left the service was great. The quality ans size of pizzas was fantastic. Recommend this place to anyone who enjoys real pizzas

Added extra item to the bill that we did not order. The broccoli that was meant to be on the pizza appeared to be spinach, not told why. Very salty but pretty tasty overall.

The broccoli that we have on the menu is Neapolitan 'friarielli' which does appear a bit leafier than what you might be used to. We'd love if you could message directly so we can make it up to you. Very good value pizzas cooked properly. All Neapolitan style. Seating a bit basic and a bit snug, but for this price it's brilliant.
