We provide valet parking from the driveway at the front of the hotel. Underground hotel parking is located at the Quebec Street entrance, and there is elevator access to the dining room level. The parking charge is reimbursed when the bottom of the parking pass is brought to the dining room and presented before payment for dinner. Street parking is also available.

The food was just okay. I had the tuna appetizer, which was fresh, but the crisp got soggy fast, and the avocado cream they put on it didn’t help the lack of flavor. The calamari was good fresh, but the Brussels sprouts were a strange combination. The chowder was good but a little sweet with the carrots and red peppers. Then we had the steak dinner. The meat was cooked perfectly, but the meat was just of average quality. The cocktails were very good.

Excellent patio expereience Server was pleasant and engaging Food was GREAT! Heater was on during a rainy night but it was perfectly cozy!

This would’ve been a four-star experience if not for the music. Loud dance music was played by a DJ when we were trying to have a quiet dinner. This music is more suited to a club experience than a dinner experience. After we complained about the DJ. They said he was stopping in 10 minutes, but then the music that came over the speakers from their internal system was the same type of music. I absolutely love music while we’re eating, but this music was inappropriate.

Incredibly disappointed in our second visit to Fathom. We came for my birthday lunch with out of town family. The food was good, but we were surprised about the poor communication of their social hour menu (between the hours of 2-5, they only serve from a menu of ~6 items, all small plates). I saw one mention of this when when booking but assumed it was like a typical happy hour menu, with the regular menu still being offered, as it didn’t state otherwise anywhere. We all left hungry unfortunately, and were all looking forward to having again some dishes we had really enjoyed previously but those were not included in this offering. We waited for a while to be greeted at the host stand, and we were haphazardly given a table without clear direction. What really left a sour taste was the service we received - my birthday was noted on the reservation, and I had opened a few presents at the table, but not a single staff member we encountered acknowledged it. Our server was short with us, and not personable. She didn’t even introduce herself at with the table and opened with “are you going to be more than 2 hours because we have a private function out here starting then”. Upon ordering drinks, she uncomfortably stared down 3 of us at the table (all of us in our mid to late twenties), but then only opted to ID one of us. I am more than happy to comply with liquor laws, but it was an odd interaction. From there, interactions continued to be short and rude. No positive interactions were had throughout our visit. Ultimately, I expect a higher level of service from a restaurant that claims to be of this calibre; and I have received much better service as much less expensive restaurants. Sad to say we won’t be back despite how much we enjoyed our first visit last year.

Our dinner was beautifully presented and one of the best meals I have ever had. I had the scallops and they are perfectly prepared and bursting with unique flavors. My husband’s sablefish was their signature dish and it was worthy of the distinction. Service was impeccable.

We stopped in to have dinner after a full day of exploring Victoria. We were able to reserve a table rather last minute. Our server took good care of us from start to finish. My husband had the steak entree, while I chose the sablefish, which our waiter told me was their signature dish. Both entrees were done to perfection. The steak was very generously sized. I loved the use of microgreens on both dishes. The broccolini on the fish entree was very tough and hard to cut through even with the knife. We both had chocolate ice cream, which was not the best choice. The flavor just wasn’t there. It was overall a good dinner choice.

Service was great. Food was good, everyone in our group of 4 were happy. It was a little pricy but we had apps, entrees, a cocktail and wine, and we split 2 desserts. I would recommend.

Our waitress just wasn’t on top of things. We had to ask several times about the social hour menu. She said all we could order was shown on the menu. We saw others eating things that weren’t on. When we confronted her with that she came up with a list of other snacks. We ended up with a crowded table of 6 next to us and many empty tables away from the crowded table. They were all drunk and obnoxious. After numerous drinks they ordered 6 dinner rolls. After consuming a roll each they asked for separate checks. I will never return based on this experience. By the time 5pm rolled around and we could order from another menu we had a quick dinner and left.
