What’s in the name you ask? We don’t really know, other than the fact that it has a good ring to it.

Nothing really about this place makes much sense. Are we a butcher shop or a restaurant? Are we a butcher shop inside of a restaurant? Or a restaurant inside of a butcher shop?

In our spare time we like to build fires and cook food over wood, you can hire us to do that. We make all of our own charcuterie in house, and we’re determined to get better at that everyday.

How do two concepts operate together in harmony? We don’t really know yet, but we will work at it ‘til it’s seamless. One thing we do know, all of the meat served and sold between these four walls is strictly derived from whole animals butchered in-house, sourced from happy places.

The food was very lack luster. I we ordered the make your own charcuterie and I was disappointed in not only the presentation but the over all quantity off food was also very sad. We also ordered the grill 3 which came with steak, sausage and pork chops. The waitress didn't ask how we wanted the steak cooked. It is supposed to be cooked medium rare but ours was rare bordering on blue in some parts. The pork also was a bit undercooked for my liking. The only good part of the meal was dessert. We wont be coming back for a meal there again. Not to mention that this indoor space is very loud and you a shoe horned in. We were so close to the next table I asked to move outside so we could have a little more space and privacy. I have no idea how this restaurant is supposed to be nominated for a Michelin star. And if this is what qualifies for Michelin star dining then their rating system has truly gone down the drain.

Simply the best possible choice in St. Catharines. The quality of food is superior, the service is outstanding. Been twice and both times my expectations were surpassed.

We had an enjoyable dinner experience on a Wednesday evening. The food quality was terrific and everything was delicious. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable and walked us through the menu and options. We were a party of four and enjoyed the shareable food experience. The service, however, was a bit clunky/disjointed - we ordered some apps and cheese and charcuterie to start, but it didn't all come at once. One or two things came at a time, with significant time between each couple of things. One of the cheeses we received was incorrect, and the server indicated we could keep it (we'd already had a bite before we realized it was wrong), and he'd take it off the bill, and bring us the cheese we ordered. It took a while for the correct cheese to come, and the incorrect cheese was not taken off the bill as promised (we didn't realize this until after we paid, as the itemized bill was not brought along with the debit machine for payment, and I had to request it after paying). We had the same experience with our entrees - we took our servers advice and ordered meat and vegetable sides to share, and not everything came at once. Our green beans came after we had pretty much finished everything else. We were celebrating a birthday and a complimentary dessert was brought for the birthday guest, but no dessert menu was offered to the rest of us prior to this being brought. It was a large dessert, but we wanted to order a second dessert and it would have been great if we could have got it at the same time as the complimentary one as the second dessert took an additional 10-15 minutes to arrive. Two menu downfalls: first, not having any potato/starch options as a side. Second is the wine list - barely any Ontario or local wine on the list. Given how hyper local the rest of the menu is, this was surprising. This restaurant is pricey, but the quality of food is excellent. Unfortunately the disjointed service really took away from the entire experience.

The sausage breakfast sandwich is to die for! The only downside is I feel the water tastes like the pipe.

Outstanding service, incredible bold flavours and a truly unique dining experience. Fine dining that doesn’t take itself too seriously. You absolutely need to try it.

Fabulous meal and interesting concept. Service was excellent. Parking can be an issue since vehicles parked in the vacant lot next door are at risk of being towed away. Fortunately the staff alerted everyone so we could run out to move our vehicle prior to it being removed. Definitely a place to return to though for a high quality and enjoyable meal.

Absolutely amazing experience! We had Tristen as our server/culinary adviser to perfect food!!! Could not have imagined a better experience! We also loved Tristen’s energy and enthusiasm, the food was beyond anything and exceeded all expectations! Coming back again!!!
