What’s in the name you ask? We don’t really know, other than the fact that it has a good ring to it.

Nothing really about this place makes much sense. Are we a butcher shop or a restaurant? Are we a butcher shop inside of a restaurant? Or a restaurant inside of a butcher shop?

In our spare time we like to build fires and cook food over wood, you can hire us to do that. We make all of our own charcuterie in house, and we’re determined to get better at that everyday.

How do two concepts operate together in harmony? We don’t really know yet, but we will work at it ‘til it’s seamless. One thing we do know, all of the meat served and sold between these four walls is strictly derived from whole animals butchered in-house, sourced from happy places.

    Fabulous meal and interesting concept. Service was excellent. Parking can be an issue since vehicles parked in the vacant lot next door are at risk of being towed away. Fortunately the staff alerted everyone so we could run out to move our vehicle prior to it being removed. Definitely a place to return to though for a high quality and enjoyable meal.

    The food was out of this world delicious, cooked perfectly. The sticky toffee pudding was incredible. The staff were super helpful. I will definitely be going back.

    Second time for us to dine at Fat Rabbit. Zach and his team are doing great things at FR. As a group of 4 we shared a variety of items, rib steak, lamb ribs and 2 excellent veggie dishes. Sooooo tasty and perfectly prepared. Service was excellent. Looking forward to going back again next time we are in the area.

    Food was not fresh and tastes very salty. Portion is small and serving is really slow as well. We spent 90 minutes for 2 small dishes and one large dish. Even water has a weird taste of algae. The best is the beer.
