Inspired by the rich culinary history of the Bue Grasso (fat ox) Festival of Carrù Italy, Fat Ox serves modern interpretations of traditional Italian dishes from acclaimed local Chef /owner Matt Carter.

The sleek 7,000 sq/ft restaurant features hand made pastas crafted in house daily, slow-roasted meats and seafood, an international wine list and a full craft cocktail bar to make for a truly special experience.

The newly renovated front patio and our beautiful courtyard patio are the perfect place to enjoy the fall weather.

Fat Ox boasts both private- and semi-private, as well as indoor and outdoor options for hosting your special events. Behind a beautiful sliding wooden doors imported from Italy, our Rosso Room provides a private space for up to 50 seated guests, with an outdoor patio that is perfect for a standing or seated cocktail reception and/or seating for an additional 50 guests. The Fireplace room can seat up to 40 guests with a curtain providing visual separation from the restaurant for a semi-private event. Our chefs can craft a tasting, choice of or family-style menu from our award-wining Modern Italian cuisine that will wow your guests.

1st time visiting, great experience. The staff very attentive and knowledgeable. We had the veal meatballs- delicious! The pasta was a little tough (maybe 30 secs more). Swordfish and the scallops were to die for! Oh and the house bread was the best. If back in town - we’ll return for sure!

This meal was overall disappointing. I expected a warm, delicious and homey italian meal when I ordered the lasagna but was met with a lukewarm dish that was subpar. The flavor was there, but the presentation dulled its shine. The salmon was excellent, but that was all that we enjoyed from the meal. Appetizers met expectations, but weren’t anything spectacular. Overpriced and overrated. Extremely disappointing.

The food was great even though a bit different than traditional Italian food, but still pretty tasty. We’ll be back.

Fat ox is one of my favorite italian restaurants. The drinks, food and ambiance is amazing.

Pasta was served closer to room temp, than hot. Food was all over-salted. Everything. Pasta portions were VERY small, especially given the cost. Think we had less than 20 noodles in the Gigli dish, so we ordered another one. The second one was so salty I couldn’t eat it. Service was attentive and our server provided a nice birthday surprise for my Wife. Not saying I won’t be back, but it may be for happy hour instead of dinner. I’d add that the first time we dined at Fat Ox we were blown away by the quality of the Cacio e Pepe and the sauces. Maybe it was an off night.

It was okay. I felt rushed like taking my bread plate when we just received the bread. Salad cane too soon. Food was okay. Waiter was in a rush

Always an outstanding experience! Service is gracious. Jonah, the sommelier recommended a fantastic bottle of wine, and the food is always perfect!
