Small local gem! Limited seating inside so make reservation. Outdoor seating on porch and other spaces. Food was original and very good. Had several of the sushi - all very good, Asian salad delicious and tuna tataki was very good as well. Nate was good host who acknowledged our reservation right away and table was ready. Our server Daniel was knowledgeable about the menu and did great job of ensuring our meal spacing and we were not rushed.

Delicious! Amazing service and very personable. Don't miss out on the Crab Rangoon or Potstickers as an appetizer.

Our table held people ages 70, 40 and 6. We all enjoyed the food. We were seated on their inside patio and it was the perfect spot. Our waitress was so attentive and knowledgeable. We had never been there before but will certainly return. Outstanding!

Fat Belly has been one of my favorite restaurants since they opened a couple years ago. Initially, mainly due to the pandemic, it was grab and go style with some seating outdoors on premises. This year, I was pleasantly surprised they now offered a wide variety of sushi and had sit down dining (inside and outside). The atmosphere was further complemented by the choice of music, roll up walls for outside porch, and the garden. The food remains outstanding, especially the sushi, mushroom app, and hand made crab ragoons! A nice gesture they offer is “cheater chopsticks” for those who may struggle with using regular ones or are new to using in general. The owner (& host at the time) offered them to members of my party when he saw me teaching them how to use chopsticks. It’s small gestures like this that continue to make Fat Belly as a must stop when visiting Sister Bay!

I admit I was a bit surprised to find such a delightful spot offering nontraditional fare at a reasonable price, and was very pleased by the flavors and the personal service. We will definitely be back.
