I havent been to Faros in a good couple of years. I remember it being outstanding from a food perspective. Was so disappointed with the two pastas we had. The Burrata tagliatelle was okay, although had too many whole peppercorns throughout. The mushroom risotto lacked depth and was overall just average. Considering the prices, the food was below average. Service was great however.

Love this place the food is lovely and presented well and in timing with your courses , the waiting staff are always very pleasant and attentive, the restaurant itself is on the smaller side but this adds to the relaxing atmosphere with nice background music, a good selection of drinks and a good variety of food menu. The only negative thing I would say is and this doesn’t take away how good this place is, the toilet facilities could do with an upgrade especially the Ladies it’s very old and not user friendly.

Exellent food and service. Quite an intimate venue so expect it to be a little noisy (and quite warm), but very cosy and feels like a proper traditional Italian. Food was high quality and staff very friendly and attentive. Candice was particularly friendly and helpful.

Food was delicious. Ordered the ragu and carbonara pastas. Also Ordered the garlic bread as we saw someone else order it and it looked and smelled so good. Ours was a little tasteless, but everything else about the place was great. Staff were attentive, ambience was lovely m, and pasta was delish!

A really lovely dinner was had here. Staff was warm and friendly, food very good, drinks also excellent. We stayed quite late-they accommodated us without complaint as we had an after dinner drink (I am sure it was past closing time). We will definitely return—this is a great option in the neighbourhood, and is open on a Sunday night, which is a rarity around here.
