    This restaurant is a gem in this small town. Every time I return to the area, I make a reservation. There are many wonderful menu selections and the quality of the food is consistently very good. The wait staff are personal and professional; and the manager has a quiet, caring, presence as he exercises oversight. Excellent all around!

    Our dinners and the service were just spectacular. Definitely worth the 50 minutes of driving to get there.

    This is the 10th time we have been to this restaurant. The last two times we noticed some slippage in service. I am glad to report that the service was excellent this go round and then keeping with what we had known in the past. Farmhouse Kitchen & Ale is a gem.

    Great casual spot with delicious, upscale food. The kitchen team graciously accommodated our salad/entree split order.

    The salmon was cooked perfectly and one of the best I have ever had. The dirty martini was also excellent!

    Loved Farmhouse! Our second time there. Not a big place, so make sure you make reservations on Open Table. Food was good both times. I had the tuna first time (I know, in S MI!), but surprisingly good! Last night had the pork chop, though it was good it was right on cusp of being overdone. Chicken Parm was good via our guests. Definitely will be back!

    Farmhouse is a great experience in an island of little to choose from. Always a positive experience and the service is excellent! Reservations are a must!
