Our intention is to serve unique food and wine in a comfortable setting accessible to everyone. We would like to welcome everybody with our passion and sincerity.

We invite you to join us whether it is for a glass of wine, lunch, brunch or even to pamper yourself with our 4-6 courses daily created inspirations for dinner. We are a small plates restaurant which encourages sharing amongst guests to sample many dishes from our daily inspired menu. Its simple, we have something for everyone….Lunch and Brunch are both first come first served, no reservations.

I have eaten at this restaurant a few times and each time, there have been dishes that I loved and some that were good but I wouldn't write home about. This time was by far the best! Every single morsel was delicious. Highlights were the Crispy Mushroom dish and Beef Randang. Also, visiting the Farmer's Apprentice or Grapes and Soda without having the smoked olives would be a mistake!

We enjoyed the tasting menu with wine pairings for a special occasion. Everything was outstanding, beyond our expectations (which were rather high). The service was charming with everyone being extremely knowledgeable about what they were serving. My only suggestion would be to get the front door fixed as it was distracting to watch customers having difficulty getting in.

Great choice for coeliac as most dishes are gluten free. We dined at 8pm on a Saturday night and wasn’t overly busy - a nice ambience for a group of 4 of us. We went for the tasting menu and it was all lovely but the final chicken and fish dishes were pretty rich. Service was great and all servers knew the dishes well. Would visit again.

I found the food over priced for what it was. The service was good, but there should be more dining options, the menu has very little choice.

This place was delicious! Definitely a spot you should try! The restaurant was a quaint little spot with impeccable service and delicious food! Was so glad we got to enjoy!!

Excellent experience at Farmer’s Apprentice last night. We make a point of dining out at least every quarter with our lifelong friends. Each time we dine at a place none of us have been to before and Farmer’s Apprentice did not disappoint. We dined family style which for this restaurant I believe is the way to go as it gives you the opportunity to sample a broad selection from their delicious menu. Each plate is a celebration of locally sourced ingredients that are all layered with flavours from around the globe. The staff is wonderful providing excellent friendly service. All of our servers we very knowledgeable about their menu but one who I would describe as more shy than the rest also displayed an honest passion for the food created in her restaurant.

The food is delicious and the service is first rate. However, there is a lot of “chef” in the food: lots of ingredients that produce a fine result, but all the flavors end up being less about the food, and more about cooking creatively. Delicious, but not so much my preference.
