Farm Bar is a neighborhood farm-to-table restaurant with locations in Ravenswood and Lakeview. We serve approachable midwestern fair with local, organic ingredients from our own Brown Dog Farm in Mineral Point Wisconsin. Stop by for dinner to indulge in our Classic Burger and famous Wisconsin Cheese Curds, or bring the whole family for lunch. Our mixologists behind the bar will happily shake up handcrafted cocktails or pour a glass of local wine to pair with brunch on the weekends. Join us for homestyle cooking, friendly faces and a table that feels like home. We limit our environmental footprint by using a digital menu linked to our tables with a QR code. We understand that some guests may require a paper menu, and one can be provided with a list of standards items upon request. In order to meet added costs from the city, we've added a voluntary 3% COB fee to our checks. We understand that rising costs affect our guests too, so we will remove this fee upon request.

A group of young women basically yelled and hooted and hollered the entire evening. It was impossible to carry on a conversation. My wife and I moved outside at the end of our meal, but that only provided partial relief. I know that this puts management in a bad position, but doing nothing effectively tells regular customers, like me, that you don’t care. Duly noted.

Food was really really good. I absolutely loved the blistered shishito dish but thought it needed a little something to help give it a kick. The creativity made it so worth it though, even as is. The cheese curds were phenomenal, the steak was good but would've benefitted from a little more seasoning. The brisket sandwich I was told was only for a limited time and was also super yum. Overall for the price and experience everything was well worth the money. The service was great and friendly and we definitely plan on coming back.

Food was great, seating outside was great. However, our server was overbearing and annoying/grating — she could use some retraining.

Something from the roof leaked into my full drink. I told the server and she replaced it but ended up getting charged for both drinks.

Great place to eat. The customer service, including the hostess on Friday night and the waiter at the outdoor seating, were excellent.

Our waitress gave very mediocre service during our visit. She was not very attentive, and struggled throughout our meal. At the end of the meal, I found a piece of glass in my cocktail. We flagged the issue to the waitress but she did not care at all and was dismissive. We were very disappointed that we could only order off of the brunch menu, there were several options that were hoping to order but couldn’t. The environment of the restaurant was fine, but we sat in the window and the light was blinding coming in and was so hot. You really need a blind in the front windows.

Beautiful day. Awesome late lunch. Sat at a booth inside with open windows -- perfect. Outstanding service, hospitality, and food. Loved the cherry burger, salads and of course, the cheese curds!

Great food in a very relaxed place. Very cute patio. We had lunch inside at one of window tables . The burgers and chicken were delicious and perfectly cooked.
