At Farm and Fire we believe that good food doesn’t have to be complicated. Our menu features only the freshest ingredients from local Canadian farmers. Because it’s slow roasted and wood-fired, we bring out the natural flavours Mother Nature intended. Come enjoy our warm and open modern dining space. Luke was a great server. Food excellent. We shared pork loin and vegetable Wellington and key lime cake.

Firstly the service was excellent from the moment we entered, really friendly. The food is also excellent, I would say more of a sharing experience. Make sure you’re hungry it beat us. Try the scotch egg, very good as was the risotto, but a large portion. We would go back.

Sat outside on patio. Patio is next to road but didn’t detract from enjoyment of sitting outside. Felt the buzz of Banff but without loads of traffic or noise. Waiter provided explanations & recommendations. Suggested we share a couple of plates, which we did (Woodside pizza & a salad). Both yummy. Shared a pudding which was huge, even between us. With a bottle of mid-range wine, two coffees & a Baileys, came to c. $180 so reasonable value for an excellent meal.

Our server was great and he explained the sharing menu very well. We are vegetarian and there were a few good options. We really enjoyed our meal, especially the mushroom Wellington that was really a pastry stuffed with all kinds of veggies, mostly corn, with a few mushrooms on top and a small amount of red tomato sauce. Delicious. Be aware that at dinner time, and I suspect most of the day, it is literally a bus stop outside with multiple buses stopping and unloading so choose to dine outdoors with this in mind. The indoor dining was air conditioned and modern decor so looked to also be a good choice.

Service was very attentive and friendly. Loved the brunch bowls, well seasoned and flavorful. Portion size was perfect.

Omg the food was fabulous - very creative menu . We considered dumping another reservation the next night just to return to Farm and Fire . The watermelon salad had some flavor - sweet /spice . The trout was large enough for two and was fresh - well prepared . We added the maple carrots and they were like candy . Only regret - I was too full to try dessert :( I would love to visit again :)
