    I had an excellent experience eating at FandoQ. I enjoyed an off the menu vegetable appetizer, I was served delicious pita bread with butter, had tremendously soft rainbow trout, surprisingly good zershk polo rice and faloodeh for yummy dessert. Cost under $100. In addition, for drink I had the Persian tea and I also Sparkling water but I tasted the regular standard water and I would drink it without any worries. Everything was 10/10 for me and I will be adding this as a restaurant to frequent. The portion sizes were filling, presentation was better than I was expecting, the server was attentive and patient explaining any items I was unfamiliar with as I am not so familiar with Persian food. I did not mention it was my first time. The server recommended well even if I didn’t take all recommended because I wanted to explore. I found no issues with the service or speed. It is not particularly large so there was 1 server for the entire restaurant and I think that speaks volumes. Sitting inside is a nice ambiance, I just wish there was a way for more privacy if needed. However, if you’re there chatting away, it doesn’t feel like walking on eggshells. It is a comfortable vibe. The temperature is good. The privacy is just my personal preference. Bottom line, I’ll be returning and it would serve you right to do the same!

    We went around 5pm ona weekday so we were ahead of the dinner rush time. The combo platter was a good value and presentation was great. The steak was cooked to medium by default even though medium-rare was requested, but that is not uncommon in this style of preparation. The waiter was friendly and attentive.

    Great food but we were by the closed sliding doors and the wind coming thru it made it feel very chilly.

    What a nice restaurant!! The service was great! The chef was out and spoke with us for a while and accommodated our off the menu request. We had Kubideh, a ground meat kebab with yogurt sauce which was delicious and Barg, a steak kebab. The very best dish however was the Zeresh Polo--a saffron rice with barberries--so good, with fragrant saffron and sweet/sour barberries. We also had a delicious baklava for dessert. My husband said the coffee was excellent. Will definitely go back!!

    My friends and I had a wonderful time at FandoQ. The service was very nice and food was delicious. We will definitely be going back. Highly recommend.
