Our authentic BBQ starts in a live-wood smoker stoked with genuine hickory logs. Our pitmasters hand-rub the meats with a custom blend of spices and cook for hours to extract the natural flavors.     The hostess didn't seem to care that we had a reservation. We were seated at a booth in the bar. It was quiet at the beginning and the bar tender was visiting us frequently enough. Then more people came in and the visits became less frequent. By the time we had to leave, I had to actually stand at the bar and insist we get our check because we had a committment elsewhere. It took over 30 minutes to get leftover containers and pay.

    I enjoyed the service I received very much. How one of my guests was not impressed with his visit. Just being honest.

    Server never brought the appetizer and after the meal we had to wave a manger over to pay the bill. Poorest service ever.

    We were grateful as this was a last minute reservation on Valentines Day. The server was excellent, he made suggestions and even realized that the brisket was super fatty and ordered us an additional piece. Overall a good family experience.

    Food was good.. the drinks not so much. I had to send both Texas Teas back. Too much sweet & sour mix.

    The great service and cleanliness of the restaurant stood out here, enjoyed the drinks as well but the food left a little to be desired for our liking. The catfish fingers ordered were well seasoned but a tad over cooked and with our burnt ends some pieces were extremely tender while others were dry and tough, the flavor was good just wish all the pieces were juicy and tender. The Mac and Cheese is also and acquired taste, peppers as well as cornels of corn are added for flavor, it wasn’t bad, just not what my palette prefers in a Mac and Cheese.
