We received a voucher for a free kids dinner with our Summer Passport package when we booked a room at the Skyline, it was suggested that we book a reservation for dinner that evening. Before leaving to the Waterpark I booked a reservation for 8:15 because the Waterpark closed at 7 which would give us enough time to get back to the hotel, freshen up & ready for dinner. We arrived at 8:19 because we got ourselves a little mixed up finding our way to the buffet from our hotel by walking. I casually asked the Maitre d' the cost of dinner because we had a voucher & was then informed of the price per person - I will say I was taken aback by the cost, I did not want to stay but it was late & our kids needed to eat dinner -I, begrudgingly, chose to stay because my husband said "we're here anyways". Once seated, a server approached us & said gather what you want now because the buffet will be closing very soon, very overwhelmed & flustered I went & collected 2 plates for our son's dinners. To my dismay, only half the buffet was displayed (entire side facing the windows was empty) then to be further disappointed when opening the chafing dishes to find all of them either 2/3's empty or some with even less - WITHOUT fresh food being made or brought out. With the copious amount of plates at our table (informed to take what you want all now) only once was 1 plate removed from the table once completed... we sat with completed dishes among us & no one came to ask if they could help alleviate the clutter. Once the server brought the bill he practically sat perched on my shoulder "guiding" me through the debit machine to the tip part, he actually reached in and hit ok once I pressed the chosen tip amount - forward much? When I made the reservation-if a prompt came up to inform me that at that time we'd be paying full price for a very limited buffet offering I would of gone else ware. I promise that I will never come back and when asked - I will never suggest this place either.

The food was well prepared but I think there could have been more variety and maybe more options. I was disappointed that there was only one cooking station. The desert station did not have many selections either. No ice cream. I mean for $70 per person I was expecting a lot better. The display of food was poorly presented and not labeled well. The only really good thing was the food was cooked good and tasted great. Only wish there would be more variety. Definitely not worth the money.

I am not sure if it’s customary not to drink water with meals, but I asked for water for the table with lemon. They brought the lemon with no water. We finished our 1st plate, and as I returned for seconds, I reminded them we asked for water. They did bring it over quickly. The glasses were small. That wasn’t the issue. It’s the issue of no one ever coming to fill it up. No straws were given. The restaurant has a balcony, and my family and I got up to walk toward the balcony … opposite the exit and the wait staff jumped on us to give us the bill. They were attentive enough to watch us leave but not to provide us with a beverage. The straw issue was not a big thing, but the fact that we only took three steps from the table toward the balcony was slightly annoying. Just make sure you know you have to advocate for things you might think is basic.

The omelette bar and the fruit selection were excellent. The staff was very friendly and the view was incredible.

We had a really nice time. Food was good and there were enough options. The service was fantastic.

Just not very good food for the price. Clearly did not have enough staff working, and the glass windows really heat up the restaurant to the point it’s a bit uncomfortable.

Totally overrated and would never dine here again. Drinks took over 1/2 hr to come. Bill was totally wrong (as where many around us)
