In season menu, creatively seasoned. Large portions meant to be shared. Staff talked us through our order but still ordered too much. Tuna was tender and in a nice cream sauce. Loved the egg and roe on toast and the bone marrow was rich and served with a chewy rye. The little gem salad had crunchy potato bits on top and was a delight of textures. Would like to see a bigger wine selection and bottle list. One of the best meals we've had.

Roast chicken was incredible, 5-spice mushroom dish and gem salad also fantastic with inventive and flavorful presentations. Attentive service and bespoke cocktails.

Was super stoked to eat here after the Eater article. Food was decent, not good enough to survive in a more bustling neighborhood of Portland. Service was execution only - no additional conversation or insight despite the restaurant being newer. Drinks were lower in volume and not impressive. Bit of a let down.

Our first experience at this new restaurant- so glad they were able to breathe new life into a nice space. You order salad, veggies, and meat separately. One of each was too much for two of us, but each was wonderful and unique preparation. Next time (and we’ll definitely be back) we’ll do a veggie or salad but not both. A perfect Negroni and nice wine by the glass options. Music inside was too loud but on the patio it was ok.

I’m amazed at the level of care from every person who tended to us for our meal! We have not experienced this level of consciousness from a restaurant before. It was as if each person was leaning into our questions or requests with a joyful eagerness to accommodate our experience. Wow! The food also continues to please our palate and nourish us with well being. We already look forward to our next gastro adventure together!

The food was excellent - particularly the carrots and roast chicken. The service was perfect - our server even proactively turned down the music since the speaker was right by our table. This is a great new place in Sellwood. Can’t wait to go back.
