A ground-to-glass small-batch distillery located in the heart of Montgomery County, Maryland. We offer full service dining, a locally-driven food menu, craft cocktails made exclusively with Fallen Oak spirits, and several Lone Oak draft beers.

We have four seating areas that are uniquely different - the Lawn, Perch, Tasting Room, and Montgomery County's only Speakeasy. All reservations booked online are for our Speakeasy (shhhh, don’t tell anyone!). We also accept walk-ins for the Speakeasy and the other three seating areas.

We are closed Mondays & Tuesdays. The Lawn, Perch, & Tasting room open at noon each day; our Speakeasy opens at 4pm. Please be aware that all guests of Fallen Oak must be 21 years or older. For those that are interested in booking large parties (15+ guests), we have several private event spaces that can be rented upon request.

We ordered drinks and dinner and after being there for an hour and a half we were asked to leave for the next seating. There were at least 10 open tables. Tables that were there before us were still there and we would have ordered more but ended up leaving going to a friendlier brewery. Totally off putting. Won’t be going back.

We were seated as soon as we got there, which was nice. However before I could take my jacket off, I was asked for a card to start a tab. I was thrown off because we hadn’t ordered yet, let alone look at the menu. The waiter stated it was standard practice 🙄 My husband doesn’t even drink and the food options were limited and we honestly didn’t know if we were going to stay or not due to the noise. There were multiple large parties which elevated the noise even more. It was LOUD, we couldn’t hear one another and barely could hear the waiter. The smoked old fashioned was a 5/10 and the Fallen Oak was 10/10. My husband’s mocktail was missing simple Syrup in which it was sent back and corrected. We didn’t order any food. Definitely not an intimate place, just a very loud bar. Would not recommend.

Our service was outstanding and very helpful with any questions about the drinks or menu. HIGHLY recommend the Harvest flatbread and honey chicken mini sandwiches

We have visited Lone Oak Brewery every year for the past 4 years and this year we decided to try Fallen Oak Distilling. We loved it. The atmosphere was cozy and higher end than Lone Oak and the food was surprisingly good!

This place which recently opened has good potential . They offer elevated bar food and the quality is really good, but there are a couple of issues. The first is the seating which either offers small tables, a few small booths or four tops that are also snall. For four of us ordering small plates, there was barely any room for the food. If they don’t fix that issue, they need to consider staggering the dishes that come out. The second issue is the soundproofing which seems non-existent. I hope they will address that. Overall, we had a nice evening there with friends with a couple of caveats.

Food was a step up from bar food but still tasty. Mixed drinks were excellent. Loved the secret dining area behind the bookcase--nice touch! The only thing I would change is to have some old-timey music playing in the background. The experience was not cheap, but it is fun every now and then for special occasions.

Having been to Lone Oak my husband and I were very excited when we heard they were opening a distillery! It was such a fun experience, starting with entering the “secret passage” behind the bookcase. Drinks and food aren't cheap but worth the price!

We made a reservation for a table and it never became available but the seating at the bar was fine. Maybe get a few more tables.
