Chef proprietor Dylan McGrath & his team have created this more casual dining experience for Fade Street Social. The Woodfired Restaurant has a menu featuring wood-fired dishes, prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Whether you’re catching a show at the theatre, heading out for a night on the town, or simply enjoying a meal with friends, this part of Fade Street provides a fun, yet relaxed and more affordable dining experience.

The Woodfired menu specialises in cooking food over hot coals, to achieve more unique flavours and textures. The smoke from the coals imparts a smoky flavour, while the heat caramelises the sugars in the food, creating a crispy exterior and a tender interior. Wood-fired cooking is a traditional cooking method that has been enjoyed for centuries, we've now brought some of that to Fade Street Social.

Ascend to the first floor and discover our New York-style cocktail bar and roof garden, offering snacks, cocktails, great music and fantastic views.

A lovely spot for a mid week lunch! We enjoyed the sandizza and steak, along with some tasty cocktails. The street-side terrace was heated and covered which was perfect. Service was attentive and the atmosphere relaxed.

We were a group of 12 for dinner on a Sat night. We had booked for 6.30pm. There was confusion at the reception about where we were to be seated ( we had booked for the Woodfired grill). There was a long line of people waiting to get in and it seemed unorganized escorting people to their tables. We waited a long time for our orders to be taken, and it was a long wait between the starters and the main course (approx 1.5 hours ) we were all really hungry by then. The service was poor and all 12 of us agreed on that (the food was fine). I had originally paid a 110 euro deposit which was due to be taken off the total bill, but this wasn't done either until I reminded the waiter. We had spent a lot of money that night and we felt it wasn't reflected in the service of the restaurant.

Food was excellent. Staff were very nice but left us for long periods without checking if we needed anything. Waited an hour on food despite restaurant not being busy. Left with empty glasses and had to call waiter to order drink and ask for dessert menu. Approaching 2hrs since arrival and drink hadn’t arrived or dessert order taken so asked for bill. Drink promptly arrived and offered for free by apologetic waiter who blamed the bar. We declined as we had to go and couldn't risk another delay. Waited again for bill to be settled. Had to stand up to leave before who appeared to be owner/ Manager who had been hovering around but not doing much, approached with card machine. No recognition of poor service from him and not even a thank you to either of us, nor a question of how it went. In my opinion, either the restaurant is understaffed (which seems unlikely due to low number of Customers), or the staff have disengaged with Management and can see the problems but feel it's not their problem. Eitherway it would point to a Management issue rather than staff as those present appeared to be of a high quality. The atmosphere as we were settling the bill was as if we had done something wrong by refusing the drink which is totally not the experience you would expect from an establishment of this standard. (Note we hadn't complained but simply told the waiter we needed to leave and thought the 1 ordered beer had been forgotten). Thankfully the food made it worth the visit.

Had a lovely time, some of the dishes came at very different times which made it a bit awkward when having dinner and waiting for everyone to be served. The food was very good

Had the Chateubriand , carrots and fries between two of us. All very nice, tasty meat , beautiful carrots, and good service. My only gripe is that when the steak is served on the platter, after getting half way through it, it starts to go cold. This changed the taste experience and surely could easily be fixed by having some sort of hot plate underneath the platter , or hot stone, whatever, as eating cold steak towards end of meal spoilt the enjoyment a bit...we will be back but please introduce this for the Chateubriand ...

The food was good, and the atmosphere was fantastic; however, the service was very disappointing. On several occasions, we had to rise from our table to try and catch a waiter, and it took a long time to find anyone to assist us with settling the bill!
